I do wear my PJ's for more than one night KM....but she doesn't like it and stands outside the bathroom while I'm showering waiting for me to give her them out to wash when I visit!!!!

Sorry me again but LOL at your mum standing outside the bathroom waiting for your PJ's to wash :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and you're a grown woman, I don't even do that for my little ones :p

ETA I'm not knocking your mum, in fact I would love a dose of what she has and she would definately be welcome to come and stay at my house with her 'habits' any time...not sure she'd like to though lol

:rotfl: at all the different 'cleaning' habits. Not sure what happened on my mum's side of the family, as she barely irons anything, whereas my auntie irons everything, including underwear, socks, tea towels, flannels...

I have a solution for dust under the bed anyway, just store so many things under there that there's no room for dust :D

I also don't have the PJ problem as OH is like a very hot hot water bottle, so if I wore any I'd boil!

LOL Hypno. Think it's thrush actually and I read that one too but even I don't iron my knickers. Mum does though and in years gone by I have had to persuade her not to put the board up for my tiny thongs.

My brother changed the sheets in his last flat biannually....no wonder I never went in!!!

Oops I iron mine and dd's knickers, :T(they sit nice in the drawer!) and towels come to think of it. Not so good with bed linen though:eek:

And if you iron your socks, apparently it stops athletes foot.......

Anyway, talking of all things athletic (tenuous link there, I know).....I headed straight out after work for a run - 6.25 miles and thoroughly enjoyed it - it was wet at times and very windy, but it was just what I needed after a very very busy day at work. So I am going to have a coffee, then head to the shower, before cooking something for my dinner and filling in the census form that has arrived today.

Hypno is right. Even I know about that one, and I don't have to do it. Modern washing machines wash at 40C, which is only as hot as a warm bath. Bacteria obviously grow easily in those sorts of temperatures. A quick blast with a bit of live steam at 100C+ soon sorts them out.

Not so sure about Hypno's new avatar though.

My avatar is from the LK Bennett website......and it is a handbag she is waving not a pair of knickers.
