Morning Hypno, ouch to ski boots, but good that it wasn't a trauma affording them. That must be a nice feeling - spending without stress
Hope you enjoyed the Biggest Loser. I watched One Born Every Minute. Lord knows why, as I sit cringing and crying every time I watch it!
Have a good day x0 -
There is very little I watch now on telly, mac - I seem to be much busier than before - even just pottering about the house etc, but if I am about for Biggest loser then I watch it - probably to remind myself how far I have come with my own eating issues
One born every minute has never appealed to me.....I obviously have no maternal instinct in me any more :rotfl:

Hi Hypno
I lurk on your diary because I find it (and you) so inspirational. I plan to go back and read your earlier diaries when I have time.
I watched both the Biggest Loser and One Born Every Minute while doing the ironing last night. I'm afraid I always cry when I see a baby born (as long as it's real and not acting) because it is such an emotional thing to witness and it brings it all back so vividly. The bit where the baby is placed on the Mum's chest - oh my God, that gets me every time.
Anyway, keep up your fantastic work, I think you're amazing. It's reading diaries like yours that gives me hope for myself for the future. :beer:0 -
Hypno, I have followed you since your first post!!! (I found MSE about the same time!) and although our debt was never enough to terify me I have found it helps keep me on track, the missing passports, ski costs, GCSE's, OH job issues / split and not forgetting your clutter & ironing
You however have had such a rough ride at times, and some good it is so nice to come on here and read how relaxed and calm with just the right mix of excitement your life has become
I hope it lasts a long time as you certainly deserve it
Things are a bit mad in our house at present and it is comeforting to see things at the other end of the tunnel

As for "relaxed and calm".....not quite the expression I would use for my working day today.......still, we are now in the second half of it so that helps somewhatSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hello Hypno - glad you're on the homeward strait now ... Hello Taka! :hello:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Taka, it is indeed nice to see you
I have had one of those days that can best be described as "challenging"......not awful, but certainly exhausting and headache inducing. Still, am home now, and a bottle of white was quickly opened as I started to prepare dinner......I really need to wind down tonight and nip this stress in the bud! I have called off going for my run this evening....it would probably do me good, but I don't want to get pathetically exhausted - which is a bit how I feel right now!
So.......have a good evening y'all xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
