Hope the teaching is going well, Hypno - and that you have *some* quiet weekend left after necessary errands. And a little G&T, of course :)

Teaching was good, with lots of lovely feedback for the powers that be, so that was no chore really. I don't really want to teach next weekend, but there is no getting out of it, so I will just have to bite the bullet and get on with it.

This afternoon will be pottering whilst listening to the football on the radio - have done lots of washing so far, lots more to do and lots of ironing also to be done.....

And I have unpacked another box from the garage, and flattened some empty boxes, so a bit more space created there - lots more to do there, but it will largely wait until the spring.

And I have called someone to get the car sorted - they should be here in an hour or so.....

So all in all, a reasonably productive day.

Hope you are all having a good weekend too x

Oooh a VERY productive day Mrs, well done! :T

MiT, I am soooo jealous your ironing is done. I've done loads of washing and it's piled into 2 baskets, spilling all over the place waiting to be sorted. I took one look and turned away, I just can't face it today :o

    Enjoy the pottering Hypno :)

Washing machine still going strong.......I have been ironing as I go today where possible, but lots of stuff remains damp and so tomorrow will see a long ironing marathon at some point.

Tesco shop done online.....which will arrive tomorrow afternoon, and the car has been sorted (again) and I just keep my fingers crossed for it - the alternator is fine, so I think I need to buy a new battery.....so not the end of the world, and certainly could be a lot worse.

Shepherds pie for dinner was delish and another one made for the freezer......nom nom nom.

Tomorrow I have added a trip to the tip into my list of things to do - to get rid of some of the stuff that should never really have made it to the new house and is currently causing clutterfication of the garage.....baby steps and all that!!

So, I will keep pottering this evening as I am quite enjoying it - strange really that I actually quite enjoy the domestic side of things now - obviously another sign that I am in the right "place" :)

Moneywise, I've not spent anything other than my online grocery shop, so that is good, and of course I have earned extra money by teaching, so a pretty good day, MSE-wise :money:

Well, beanie, certainly I am right now - it is a case of one day at a time, not expecting too much of myself and learning to keep things at the right "intensity", if that makes sense - ie not getting worked up about things that don't warrant it, and preserving my energy for the things that do need it for whatever reason, good or bad.

So, there are days (or weeks, like last week was) when I feel that I have hit a brick wall, of course there are, but I am learning to deal with those times more effectively so that they don't overspill any more than is absolutely necessary.

I think I am heading in the right direction, and I am absolutely in a better place generally than I have been, probably for many years.
