Is it the end, or just the beginning.....?

I have just seen on the MSE newsletter :money:that if you buy a copy of Red (March Edition) you get a £25 Hobbs gift card.
Needless to say, I have just hotfooted it over to the newsagents opposite the office and bought my copy.

Thanks for that Hypno - I got a free sub with Tesco points but hadn't opened it up as I have a big pile I am wading through/saving for hols. There is is, all shiny red (but with a LOT of conditions!). Need to plot a visit to see some staff onsite based on nearness to Hobbs outlet :rotfl:
ETA: Sorted - just had a look and only 1/2 mile at most away from there next ThursA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Ooh, how exciting! :T :T0

Well, I simply have two choices - be miserable about the weather, the fact that I hate February (cold, grey, and containing the anniversary of losing my Dad), or look at the positives that I have in my life, of which there are many, appreciate them, and enjoy them.
Hi Hypno, hope you're feeling the latter today and are hotfooting it to Hobbs as we speak
Good luck with the car - hope it can be fixed relatively cheaply. Have a good weekend xx0 -
Yes, thanks Mac - I am fine - have had a very smiley week so far, even with the car issues (which I have yet to deal with), so all is well.
I am busy busy busy - that time of the year at work, plus have teaching ahead of me for the next couple of weekends which is adding to the hassles - although I am seriously considering telling them that after these two workshops, I don't want to do any more.
Went for a run last night - but only did 3 miles.....was very windy, and my legs just didn't want to carry me any further - still, it was better than nothing!

Well done on the run it must have been hard as the weather was tough,
Hurrah for the smiley week, although you and your capsule wardrobe have waged havock in my housebut thank you for finally giving me the virtual kick up the backside to get going
Hope the car is cheep and the weekend equally as smiley
I teach some weekends too and although the money comes in handy I sometimes think I spend it on trying to make my life more convinient in the week (but I would much rather teach than have a cleaner!!)£112121.02 10 Years and counting!Target in 2011 £22K /£10646.97 DFD Feb 201742Lbs /23 Down 19 to go!:shocked:So now I just need to keep going!Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here0 -
Tomorrow's workshop is my favourite to teach, so it is not really a chore.....and the fact that I am being paid a reasonable hourly rate for something I enjoy is just excellent!
But next week it is my least enjoyable workshop......and the reason I have it to teach is because no one else wants to do it either! And to add insult to injury, I am being observed - why I couldn't be observed on tomorrow's fun and lovely session, I don't know!
Ah well.....even these two last workshops (if indeed I decide to give up) will give me spending money towards my holiday, so all good really.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yes, and the good thing is you can pick and chose. At one time you needed to do the workshops to survive, now it's for nice frivolous spending! Hurrah! :T
I went for a 3 miler on Wednesday night. I did a bit of *fartlek*which for me means running as fast as I can between bus stops. I think I need to do more of those sessions as running my usual 10k twice a week, though enjoyable, is not really challenging my body.
Sounds like you are on course for the marathon - I find out next week if I'm in the GNR - did you apply this year Hypno?0 -
no, I didn't apply this year for the GNR - another year, maybe!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
