hi hypno, just popping out of lurkdom (have subscribed tho so am still reading!) to say hope you are ok, also hope that the fuzzy head has cleared and that the holiday sounds fantabulous! I will book the sunshine (I have a reputation in this area!), hope you have a great time :j0

Hypno - many thanks for your reply, really do appreciate being able to ask for advice - i think i am more one of those people who needs to get out there and just run (probably not very far the first time mind) and as you say just push myself to do more each time.
Fitness levels? Hmmm possibly the most unfit i have ever beenbut as my thyroid has caused me to gain lots of weight and feel exhausted to boot the running can only help with fitness, weight loss and hopefully energy levels too
I think I need to do the London marathon as its one of those bucket list type things i guess but I could apply for the London and the Edinburgh one as I am unlikely to get into the London one in the first year which means a nice holiday in Edinburgh :j I guess i apply for this just after the one this year also?

For edinburgh I think I pre-registered soon after the race in May, then did a proper entry in August. Good luck with it!
Today is Friday - hurrah! But I have to do battle with Barclays. Stupid numpties sent a debit card, in the name of XOH, to my new address (not redirected from the old one) for MY bank account - an account that he is not even on  So, someone will get the benefit of my wrath today - Barclays employees of the world watch out!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
