Had a really good day - good company, good game, good result My sister lives in Sheffield and was also at the match (but of course supporting our home team!) and so I briefly met her before and after the game, which was nice too, just to say hello!

Tired now, but have just made myself a cup of decaf so I can unwind a bit before heading to bed. We had a bit of an 80s-fest singalong in the car on the way home, and if I am not careful I will be singing Adam and the Ants lyrics all night :rotfl:

Morning all. I hope you are having a good weekend.

Today I need to go for a run this morning, and need to get a few bits from the supermarket - will aim for essentials only. This afternoon I want to ski with some friends and have a drink, so that will be fun, before having a pretty early night I think, after a busy weekend, and before an undoubtedly busy week ahead.

Moneywise, I am keeping things as they should be - my "social" budget is kept very separate from everything else so I can ensure that I don't ruin things just by having fun.

Well, that's the idea at the moment at least! so far so good.....although obviously I am still waiting to find out what is wrong with the car so that is an expense I mustn't lose sight of!

Have a lovely day, yesterday sounded like a good one too. Sorry, I tend not to take note of results in lower divisions as we have enough problems of our own; scarily near the relegation zone until yesterday.

Sounds like a busy but enjoyable day for you today. Where do you ski? Is the slope a dry slope of one of those snow dome type places?

I am in awe of people who can ski you all make it look so easy. I really struggled when I had my lessons over christmas. Although with hindsight I do think that I was still recovering from my car accident and was struggling (still am) to turn left and right without icy stuff beneath my feet whilst balancing on two planks of wood!
I might give it another go some time. It does look like fun.

Have meant to say for a while that I love your signature and everytime I see it I hear Michael Buble in my head - always a nice thing to hear.

Well, I ran 12 miles without stopping - so am more than happy with that. My legs felt heavy but I think that is just because I spent so much time in a car yesterday (and was sitting in the back, so even less leg room!).

Cheri, I ski on a dry slope about 5 miles away from here - we have a fantastic facility so we are very lucky. And it is a very social place to be too, so lots of friends there, and lots of laughter always on tap

Now I am going to collapse for a min, and have a coffee before diving into the shower....
