Its New Budget Day!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
No word on the car yet, so I await that news eagerly.....
New budget looks good......subject to the above of course. I also have some divorce related expenses that I need to pay this month which more or less wipe out any surplus, but hey ho, that is all part of the process I guess and just has to be taken on the chin.

Hi Hypno,
Looks like things are going well for you, well except for the car, hope it's not too expensive.
On the budgeting I'm hoping long term that the wardrobe revamp won't be too expensive, as building up a core of nicer items in a shortish time is a bit  at times, especially when I raided the sales, but everything was just right and minimum 50% and mostly 70% off
. But theoretically with less unworn & hardly worn mistakes, once the core is there is should work out the same if not cheaper. But I've got a few expensive items still on my wish list
Is that how your wardrobe purchasing is working out Hypno?0 -
more or less, se.....I am very pleased with it, and don't feel the need for much else.
Although, yesterday I discovered that LK Bennett had reduced their shoes further :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Budget with potential sounds good and doesn't it feel good to have a surplus.
can't wait tolose weight to buy my capsule wardrobe.
hope you hear about the car soon.0 -
Although, yesterday I discovered that LK Bennett had reduced their shoes further :rotfl:
But if you wait too long they sell out in your size - well they do if it's me. I tried to get some Jaeger ones from an mse post, and by the time I'd checked someone could collect from a shop to save on postage my size sold out0 -

Just spoken to the garage - they won't get chance to look at the car today (fair enough, I hadn't booked it in, just dropped it off) and can't do so until Tuesday.
Bit of a pain, but nothing can be done about it, so no point in worrying over it.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I am going to Sheffield tomorrow to watch football......but a friend is driving, so no worries on that score. The rest of my journeys would be local anyway, so could be doable on the bus etc.
