Morning all - tis Monday again. After a lovely, but tiring weekend, I hope that this week is nice and straightforward! I know it will be a busy one, but I really don't want any curve balls please!

Tonight I am due to go out for something to eat (thank you clubcard vouchers) and to the cinema with a friend, so that will be good. Don't know yet what we are seeing, but whatever it is needs to be good to stop me having a little snooze during the film :o

    Have a good day everyone!!

Hypno, everyone says The Kings Speech is a fab film being a very rare "intelligent" tale. I'm hoping to go before it finishes its run, instead of missing out 'cos I procrastinate even about nice things. Satchmo

127 Hours is very good. I wasn't sure about going to see it but was very glad I got convinced to go. It's shot very well and it's an incredible story, made all the more so for being based on a true story! Lots of good films out at the mo, Orange Wednesdays will be used to full advantage over the next few weeks! ;)

The Kings Speech is fab, I really enjoyed it - the acting is amazing and I can see why it's up for so many awards.

Another vote for The Kings Speech. We went yesterday and really enjoyed it.
But why does Helena Bonham-Carter look younger in every film???

Glad you had a good one in Yorkshire-land! We are about 2 mins from the ground but weirdly hardly ever hear much noise from there (we do grumble a bit about the parking on Saturdays though :D)

Well done on the run too - that's brilliant :)

  • I really really fancy the Kings speech as I have heard loads of good things. I might manage next week as it is payday. It helps that I fancy the pants off of Colin Firth mind you. I would watch him in anything :). Have a lovely night
