  • Having worn heels all my life I have had to stop overthe last 2 years as I have completely wrecked my feet :(. I had something called plantar fasciitis. Total agony and could hardly walk at all until I got ultrasound physio on them. I now have a problem with the bones coming from my toes. THought at one time they would need to operate to relieve the pain but tried another type of shoe first. I have been wearing fly flot shoes and sandals for 18 months and the difference is massive :D. I would love to wear my heels again but my feet cant bear it so I just have to get on with it in my ugly flatties lol. THe comments I have had about how wee I am and how everyone thought I was taller make me want to cry lol. Never mind I will just be a voyeur and watch all your shoe !!!!!! and fantasise ;)

I've heard really good things about FitFlops for planar fascitis. It might be worth checking it out, especially since a lot of the boots are now on sale. SoleTrader had some good offers on last time I check them out. Mosey on over. :)

Evening all.....well the coffee started to kick in at about 4pm  Which is probably just as well because I have been invited out for drinks for a girlfriend's birthday tonight. I will only know a couple of people there but on the basis that I am making more of an effort to accept social invitations, even if it is only for a quick drink, I am going to be brave and go

I haven't picked up my new shoes from the depot yet, so wore some other, but rather lower, heels instead.....

I did only know a couple of people there, but now I know a few more....and had a fab evening - was driving, so not drinking, but as it is a "school" night, that is not such a bad thing, I guess......am very glad I didn't make an excuse, which is what the "old" me would have done :o

And now, am tired, and hopefully sleep will not evade me as it did last night.....I hope you have all had a good evening x
