    Hypno! :hello:

I have been away from MSE for some time (I lost heart :o) but it was thoughts of you and your journey that brought me back ready to fight again! I have been itching to know how you were getting on but wouldn’t allow myself back on here until I sorted myself out so I wouldn’t increase my ever-increasing guilt pangs by logging on but not actually *doing* anything!

So now that I am back and debt-busting with gusto again, your thread is my ‘treat’ for getting there. If only I could’ve stop you lot from posting for a while to give me a chance to catch up! :D

Debt free...New home...a Savings Target!! It wasn’t very long ago at all that we were drooling all over the property !!!!!! with you, with far away dreamy looks in our eyes! (And now it’s shoe !!!!!!-hoorah!)

I can only echo all that has been said before in congratulating you in your achievements, you have worked so hard and you thoroughly deserve a fantastic 2011 and beyond!

And although it's slightly strange coming from someone who has never met you or spoken to you personally (or even seen what you look like!) you have been utterly inspiring, thank you so much for sharing your journey with us :A  :A

Now, more shoe !!!!!! please :rotfl:

Thank you Rainy!! Nice to see you back x

I came home from work today to find a hamper had been delivered - from the HALIFAX!!!!! It contained wine, chocolates, shortbread, smellies, tea, coffee, a tool kit, and picture hooks as a "welcome to your new house" gift.

So, am now not sure whether it is a nice touch, or a waste of some of my mortgage arrangement fee!!

HA! I have to admit to reading that and thinking Oh how nice........wait a minute............how did they fund that? When I took out a loan once (many moons ago) Sainsbury's sent me a case of 20 bottles of wine. I did exactly the same double take with that.

Oh yes, I agree - I can't be cross with them for too long when Thorntons chocs and wine are involved.

I am gagging for a nice glass or three of wine. I haven't touched a drop for 3 months after having to take medication for shingles and not being allowed. The alchohol ban has sort of continued and I don't really want to fall off the wagon.... very tempting though.
