    Wow ... my net connection threw me off last night ... look at what I missed! And I have so much to learn ... I'd never even heard of LK Bennett till Hypno mentioned them on here.

    As for *those* shoes :eek::T:eek::T:eek::T

    LK Bennett was the shop I promised myself I would go shopping in if I hit my goal weight. And those particular shoes were the ones I promised myself when I hit a certain weight loss point on the way...

    BUT, when I got to that weight, I couldn't bring myself to spend so much money on clothes from there in case I just put all the weight back on and it would turn out to be a waste of money :o And whilst I *have* spent that much on quality items of clothing before, and appreciated the differences between them and cheaper ones, I had NEVER spent that much on shoes, so it was all a bit scary for me, and I backed off!

    However, having stayed at my goal weight for 6 months now, I have decided to combine all those rewards that I am due....and am loving it lol!!

    my reaction to seeing those shoes, was that you are not that much younger than me and you can STILL wear that type of shoe? Dang i must be doing something wrong. Oh yes I know going and cheering on the side lines at sporting matches would really work in them would it. all i would do was aerate the field!:rotfl:

    I don't wear them at the ski slope.....or at the football.....;)

    And thanks for just making me feel as though I am too old to be wearing nice shoes :rotfl:

    Chev - I was in flatties only until a year or so ago, now I'm back in upto 3" heels with no problem, and got a couple of pairs of higher ones too, but probably need a little practise for those first :) So maybe it could be worth gradually increasing the height of some of the shoes you wear. I must admit heels do improve the look so much, as well as helping you look taller/slimmer. One of the first things Gok does in his makeovers normally is get people into killer heels :)
