A while back (about 6months ago) my dad fished a bag full of football shirts out of a skip and gave them me, in the bag was a signed leeds football shirt from there division 1 winning season (1991–92), sold on ebay for over £500 profit after delivery + fee's ^_^
Amazing wha some people will throw away0 -
I bought some limited edition Converse basketball boots for £7 whilst visiting my dad in Argentina. I sold them on ebay for £107.
I've also sold most of my old record collection of mostly obscure punk/rock/metal and made quite a profit. I sold a Mr Bungle picture disc for £55.
I've sold a load of old and tatty occult books, all of them sold really well. However, I sometimes think it is how you describe what you are selling as I saw an exact copy of one of the books that I was selling sell for just £2 whilst I sold it for £20+.
I saw a paperback of the 'the Beatles' by Hunter Davies in my local hospice shop but didn't buy it. I saw lots of BIN's on ebay for £10+ but not sure if they have actually sold.0 -
my wife works for a local card shop chain and a few years ago i bought loads of posters of the band Busted, with her staff discount they were 75p each.
a few days later i found a shop selling Busted sticker books reduced from £4.99 to 50p so i bought all their stock.
leading upto xmas i put them on ebay in pairs (1 x book + 1 x poster) with a starting price of £2, most sold for over £20, one reached £34.

Got a really cute top from topshop in the sale earlier this year, loved it, but never wore it, it just wouldn't have suited me (unless I magicly turned into a beanpole over night!) the full price was £35. (I paid £15 in the sale). It went for £40! I wish I had picked up 2!0
