I sold 3 sets of original Bakerlite door handles that my parents were going to dump for £33. The brass handles didn't sell though.
Levis denim (Jeans/jackets) has also done well for me in the past.0 -

If you want to search for mispelt items but can't be bothered going through all the ways to spell it etc yourself then go on https://www.fatfingers.com A great tool that saves you a lot of hassle.0

Split bulk buys are good for making money - as long as you know your stuff.
For example, I bought 99 CR-V3 batteries for £17 including p&p, which I sold '3 for 2' and made about £250. The annoying thing was that the seller was also selling other bulk batteries which could have made even more.
Bulk DVD buys are good especially if they contain TV boxsets as these can go for £10 or more on there own.0 -
Ive been looking to do that amazon and ebay, splitting lots of dvds, but not really seen much worth buying.0

Back to our discussion about Haynes car Manuals selling on ebay:
I saw a HM for a Jag E Type in a charity shop, bought it, along with a couple of other books, which turned out to be 3 for £1. So having bought it for approx 33p, i sold it BIN for £14.99!
I just knew a HM for a Jaguar like that would sell...!
My ebay total this month is already at £29!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -

There are a few 'fat fingers' type sites out there now. Problem is that the more people use them, the less the bargains will be because these errors will be spotted by more bidders. I have also noticed that some bigger sellers have started using mistakes on purpose as they will get less competition on a 'fat fingers' list than on a standard ebay search.Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.0 -
I'm very new to buying things with the sole intent to resell on Ebay. I've recently been made redundant so have had more time to find things. Only just starting really but dead chuffed with my first venture.
I bought a pair of brown leather cowboy boots from a charity shop for £5. They were in great condition so I snapped them up. It turned out they were a USA brand which probably helped even more. Sold them including P&P for £73. Fantastic! :beer:Quidco ~ £3,718 | Greasypalm ~ £354 | Freefivers ~ £45 | Pigsback ~ £260 shopping vouchers + 15 CDs
Total cashback / freebies / money-saving: 2006 ~ £3,961 | 2007 ~ 3,610 | 2008 ~ £4,159 | 2009 ~ £1,449
