I've not had time to check the whole thread, so apologies if this has been mentioned.

Have a look out for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, especially boxed ones. A guy at a car boot, trader as well, sold me 4 figures for £2. Some of them went for £10+ each. Probably made £25 after fees and postage.
  • Posted this on amazon book thread but putting it here too.
I saw on tv yesterday that the tv programme bad girls didn't make much memoribilia so anything out that sells well. Last week I picked up a bad girls book but put it back again and there is one on ebay selling at £18.
Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.30
  • This thread brough back a memory from 2003ish - got a voucher through the door for 20 pounds off a pair of glasses at a nationwide opticians, put it on ebay and managed to get 10... a win / win.

  • Not exactly ebay gold mine thread, more of a car boot sale goldmine.

Someone gave me a picture last week, it was part of a low priced auction lot they didn't want and it was going to be put out for the rubbish.

Today I sold the picture for £8 at my local car boot sale. I wish I had asked more because the lady didn't even barter.
  • Just broke my record for profit from a single jumble sale. I bought various vintage clothes, shoes and handbags (c.1940s-'70s), spent under a fiver total and have totalled £70.39 in eBay sales. The biggest profit was on a pair of old green Norvic Celebrity ladies' shoes which I bought for 10p and sold for £21.88.

Any textbooks or handbooks on adoption.

I was listing them, as BIN and they were selling WHILE i was doing it- madness.

I havent seen many about- & the laws recently changed too, so older ones may not appeal as much- but ver ypopular on ebay indeed.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
