Everyone has a right to protest. Specially those asked to have 9k per year tution fees alone on teir heads for the rest of their lives.

    . :)

Maybe they should take advantage of the free vocational further education.
This country will/is crying out for Joiners,Carpenters, Plumbers,Bricklayers and Engineers..........!!!!!! is all the fuss about with degrees and going to uni???......

People need to wake up and realise we have millions of homes in this country that will aways need improving and re-building.Skilled Labour is expensive.

Tsk, young people today! They don't riot, they do YMCA dance steps!

It was a right old ding-dong. I was walking between Marsham Street and Pimlico and there was motorcycle bizzies blocking the road and copters overhead.

It was too funny at Victoria, a yoof was asking a parked-up motorcycle bizzie for directions, waving a London map! I think he was given a clip around the ear ;)

I did see lot of nice gels waving 'F**k Cuts' placards; honestly, that's not very laydee-like is it?

As some of you know :) I quite recently posted that we'd had a quote of £7.5k for painting the outside windows here:eek:

Further education does not involve dossing for three years. Not nearly as attractive.

    Excellent news.

Great to see these young people out on the streets protesting. I also support the violence and destruction. Sometimes that's what it takes.

It's about time people started to get angry and I hope it's a sign of what is to come.

What I find suspicious is the weak response from the police. They are more than capable of sorting out this sort of thing if they want to. I smell a rat.

  • It's good to see some action, rather than the british just moaning. It's just a shame the few had to spoil it and turn it into violence and criminal damage.

Well that's likely to be as a result of the police tactics to stir up such trouble, or the people planted to start such things off and discredit for the media.

But then again, when was the last time any government listened to peaceful protest? Ours cerainly never bothers.
Even the French gave in this year.

Think that's how terrorists start out. Sick of not getting listened to.

If they'd had larger numbers and used full anti-riot methods, they might have got more than they received. Not only that but, remembering G20, there might be a student martyr by now.

Most of the students protested earlier elsewhere. It's always the breakaway factions & agitprop guys who get the news coverage.
There were many more students who didn't enter the Millbank building than those who did.

As the reporter on the Beeb put it: 'The large crowd refused to move away,' which sounds remarkably like civil disobedience to me.

Yep. I can just hear the Met Commissioner explaining to the PM how the unspeakably wicked 'cuts' means the riot-bizzies suddenly can't hold the fort against some layabout students. Where was A2Z and his 'fire at will, shoot to thrill' SO19 chums - Rat-a-tat-a-tat!

Just the usual far-Left rabble rousers at it again, recently woken from their long slumber under NuLabour.
