ebay is great, search under gnome and fairy, the elf can be anything, not just a traditional elf, my 2 year old has a soft fairy doll, and my 2 eldest have knitted gnomes. you can check them out on my elf blog http://blinkysmickleifigus.blogspot.com/ to give you an idea - hope this helps0

not everyone has your traditional red/green elf with pointy ears etc. some people have got xmas bears/reindeers/penguins etc. my elves are all different - the 1 i got the 1st year was a 7-dwarfe - short n fat, which i added gold ribbon to his hat (covers the name) and bells to his hat and shoes, he has the same ribbon round his waist. the 2nd elf is a 14" rag doll, she has her hair in buns and stripey legs. the 3rd n 4th are both aurora rag dolls which i have made more xmasy with with ribbon, buttons, silver charms etc.
search ebay - elf, gnome, fairy, pixie, ragdoll, aurora (make of rag dolls), christmas toy, leprechaun. you may need to add stuff to them to make them more xmasy but thats not too hard. you can buy a genuine magic elf doll from a site in america for about £30 plus shipping of £90!!!
hope this helps.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

got a little pinic basket with porchlin (sp?) tea set in it from home bargains for £3.99 so the elf's can be found having a inside pinic (which we often do in winter) thought it would be good for if the elf's are visiting during the summer too0

i said about one of these to OH but we couldnt afford £10+ for a set. shame theres no home bargains near me
i have managed to get the blue aurora nuna doll off amazon cheaper than ebay, and have put my pink elf up for sale on ebay! (i really dont do pink, but at a push i would have done.) We are naming her Snowflake Glitter-Kisses.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
