Hi
Welcome to curiouscrafter and other new elves/owners!
Our elves visited for DS birthday last week. It felt like Christmas again setting it all up the night before, even OH said he was excited! It was so lovely seeing the kids surprised and delighted faces in the morning, it really made the day extra special and was nice not to have to wait til Christmas for that elf magic again!
Thank you to yummy-mummy-amy for the decorated cookies idea, the elves left their own birthday message on some cookies using a tube of chocolate icing. I also managed to get a free personalised birthday banner from vistaprint, just paid VAT and P&P. I was quite surprised at how big it was, as it was listed as small, it's made from a vinyl type material and we'll bring it out every year, so really pleased. The elves put the banner up and were found sitting underneath it with leftover chocolate coins from Christmas!
Good luck to everyone who's already planning for next Christmas!0 -

Hi All,
Berry Jingles, I have just been looking at your blog with great enthusiasm, I really cant wait till Christmas!!! As this christmas 2011 will be our first visit from one of Santas elves I dont want Patch to visit for birthdays or easter this year but next year he will.
I have ordered from Vistaprint a notebook that I have personalised with a photo of Patch Jingles, I will use this as his elf journal/report.
I found the Elf DVD in the charity shop, will use this for the movie night hamper Patch will leave.
I have to post on here with all my recent elf activities and finds as my husband thinks I am going crazy!!! I am sure once he sees the kids excitement he will soon follow suit and get involved!!
Thank you all for all the wonderful ideas x0 -
Hi all,
Oh Yummy-mummy-amy you are so tempting me to get the elves back out for easter now!Our kids had so much fun on the run up to christmas with them, I bet they would love a flying visit with eggs!
Welcome to curiouscrafter we have an elf named Patch Jingles too and his sister Honey Bee Jingles made a flying visit in late december because once i had bought him I just had to buy another lol they are so addictivePatch jingles was still the firm favourite with the kids though.
My husband thought I was crazy too then after week one he was as exited as me, in fact he couldn't wait for the kids to go to bed so he could make a start on the elf mischief lol!!! he said he is making a sleigh for them arrive on this year
Have fun!0 -
Hello all,
Whilst browsing around local charity shops today I found 2 beanie babies, a reindeer called rudy and a dog called jingle pup, these are really cute. I got these with the intention of them being visitors, but now thinking about it, maybe they could stay as Patch Jingles companions?!?! I am always on the lookout for Christmas Elf bits and bobs, and we're only in March!!0 -
its great isnt it!
i still have to come up with a name 4 the 4th elf. LOL!due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

hi all,
the elves are coming TOMORROW!!! the kids have asked if we can have a garden party for the royal wedding and asked if we could invite the elves, they have been sent an offical union jack invite and told they have to wear posh clothes and a crown....... (me unting the charity shops the past 2 days for posh clothes on teddys/dolls! LOL!)
they are going to be found in the gazebo tangled up in union jack bunting. their passports have been stamped (at the expense of £6 to buy a date stamp!!!).due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
