  • sat eve i fell asleep and forgot to do anything with elves! (oops!), last nighht they put a note in lounge windows asking nicely for snow as most of their elf friends have it - and incase the weather isnt sure what they asking for they put sparky snowflakes on mirrors and hung icicles about.

and for the kids to make up for the night b4 they left a choc bar and elf tops to go with elf hats n shoes!

  • Tomorrow JJ Jingles is leaving the kids some red Christmas balls and a bottle of white paint and some felt tip pens to make some snowman ornaments for the tree. It's something we can do and keep year after year to see those little hands growing.:)

We made those last weekend - the kids loved doing them... we made a few extra and gave to grandparents etc who thought they were fab! :)

I bought some largish gold bells from the pound shop and cut out with pinking shears some red card tags and got the oldest to right on with gold pens "Jinngle wishes to you" then them gve them to people we met (who we knew) nieghbours, the paperboy (he looked bemused) and some school freinds we were meeting saved some for the grandparents and kept one for me. The kids really enjoyed making them and handing them out.

  • Well tonight JJ Jingles has taken the car and gone out for a joyride and a pizza. And that's not all, he's turned the car into the reindeer-mobile by adding large antlers to it.(.99p Home Bargains) He is also going to tell the kids he wants to go see his elf friend Otis (my best friend has an elf this year as well and we haven't told the kids) and JJ has left directions on how to get there in the TomTom. So it will be a adventure and surprise for the kids too. I can't wait to see their reactions.;):D

thats cool. no-1 local to me is doing it but i would llove to be ableto take them visiting. i did say to OH about them adding antlers and red nose to car but as we dont have a driveway and the local teenages leave alot to be desired they would be stolen!

have no idea what to do tonight.

  • they made a band and a cd!!!

their attempts at playing the drum, tambourine, recorder, maracas and whistle were abit poor so they asked "their elf friends" to sing some elf songs, which were burnt onto cd, this included a personalised song for each of the boys (79p each from amazon music).

****anyone wanting to make band/x-factor etc, poundland has the x-factor musica instruments and "echo" microphones in stock - all have x-factor logo on!!!

  • The kids have been incredibly naughty today and tonight JJ Jingles is putting a lump of coal in each of their stockings to remind them that it could be their present for Christmas if they aren't better.

  • Mine were sent to bed at 7pm but I can still hear the 8 year old talking and snapping his fingers to keep himself awake. It's been such a long day I think I'm ready for bed too. :(
