I braved the Next sale in-store today and was chuffed to see some Christmas bedding in the sale. I bought a set for each of my DD's which Percy can put on the beds when he arrives next year!
Lots of christmas crafts sets on sale in ELC as well, perfect for our elves to bring with them0 -

Hi, just thought i would write a quick reply to say thanks everyone for this wonderful thread, we had so much fun in our house with our elf. There were so many highlights, both when we were setting the antics up and my sons reactions to them and we all have some lovely memories. One of the funniest had to be the evening we were setting up a snowball fight with cotton wool balls and my partner turned to me and said "the Ducks got no ammo" in such a serious manner that i had a lightening bolt of how silly we must look and had the biggest fit of the giggles :rotfl:
My son became very attached to our elf and struggled with his leaving on Xmas eve and a few tears were shed (which then made me a little tearful)
We will definately be doing this again next year, by which time our son will prob know it is us but i really don't care as it was just so much fun for us all.
Thanks again for all the support and i will also be looking during the coming year for items that can be part of next years elf antics.0 -

My son is 10 in a couple of weeks, so will be nearly 11 next xmas. Like most children his age he was questioning the existence of Santa - but the closer it got to xmas the more he believed again. So really didn't have any effect on his enjoyment of Xmas. Lets hope we have a similar situation next year.
Either way his enjoyment of the elf was great and I will certainly try the photos next year. My OH keeps on rolling his eyes at me because i am allready talking about plans for next year :rotfl:0
