mine are making a get well card as just had take 1yr old emergency docs, he got chest n ear infection, explains wht he spent most of day being grumpy n this eve screaming. bless him

Today our elf spent it at school with my daughter's Year 2 class and they loved every minute of the elf being there. Tonight JJ Jingles is going to start some Christmas paper chains for the kids to finish.

Hi everyone,

I NEVER usually post on these forums - but do read alot and find the information really useful. Thanks to all of you who do post.

However, this Magic Christmas Elf idea has really struck a chord with me and I've got a new addiction - my DH thinks I'm bonkers but DD (7) has fallen for her elf in a BIG way!

I was thinking of introducing Nadelik (Cornish for Christmas) for the 12 days before Christmas, but due to baby being unwell Nadelik didn't arrive until last night. Since then she has been found in the fridge (because she forgot to bring her Elf Snow and Sleeping bag, which have since arrived by magic request), watching DVDs in bed ("she MUST be magic mummy because the DVD player isn't even plugged in"!!) and is about to wrap up DD's school clothes as an end of term present!!! Oh, that reminds me DD wants to take her into class tomorrow because she wants to convert some "non-believers" (There are children in years 2, 3 & 4 in her class) - any hints for introducing Nadelik to the teacher?

Anyway, she's got a facebook page and I wonder if she sends out some friend requests if you could get your elves to add her please.

i will add elf tomorrow for you. no ideas for the teacher as i no my sons school said they wanted few days notice if he was taking it in.


baby - not much better, but thanks for asking. eldest son has a temp of 39.9 BUT says he feels fine not poorly, just hot. so guessing he going down with something! middle son is still awake (its 11pm!) and tonights activities were going to be on his football table in room so have got to change the plans!!!

however, as tomorrow is last day of term i think wrapping uniforms couldbe the order of the day!!!

edit - middle son is still awake due to the fact he has a headache as well! so i wont be wrapping his uniform but have wrpped them 2 dvds!
