popped into town at the weekend and managed to grab a few things ready for jingles and belle's visit this december. got 2 cute little snowman mugs ready for the snowman soup, a barbie sized sledge and igloo from hb for just £2.99, some more jars so elves can bring mrs-claus cookie-in-a-jar mix, a beautiful little snowman crystal bauble for the tree, and finally a few more bits to pop in the new wooden advent calender (homemade by my ever-so-wonderful hubby) that the elves will arrive with for the morning of december 1st. just a few more little props to get, and the tickets to go see nativity 2, much closer the time! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

We had sparkles snow-bottom to visit my 3 boys last year and it was fab.
This year i ordered 2 more and they arrived yesterday! Sparkles was a green hat peppemint elf and his twin little brothers (jingle and Chester) are red hat peppemint elves.
My idea is that as my boys grow and move out:( they can each take an elf and carry on the tradition. If they don't want to, i will carry it on myself:p
so excited for this year:j0 -
I have just found this and I love the idea. I have 2 children who will be 8 and 1 at Christmas trying to find things for them both to enjoy of Christmas is very difficult!
I think they will both love this though! We are going to on holiday to Germany the first week of December and are elf will be will be waiting for them to come home.
This year were just having the one elf and as my DS gets older we may get a second.0 -
Spent the morning making our elves bag. Attempt number two will be slightly different and i most probably will change the red and green string for some ribbon.Totally debt free wohooo 2014

Hi, what size elves have you got? Mine have just been delivered today and I love them! They're the aurora girl and boy elves.
I've just got some magic snow from home bargains, it was £1 and when you add water it expands to 100 times its original size so I'm going to put it in a tub or baby bath and sit the elves in so they look like they're having a snow bath. Probably put shower caps on them etc. I've also done a treasure hunt, printed the clues off with a christmassy border and laminated them. I got some lovely mini christmas buckets from The Range and at each clue there will be a chocolate coin to put in their bucket and at the end a certificate telling them they've been placed on the nice list! (hopefully..;)) I'll do the treasure hunt on xmas eve. I'm trying to get everything prepared asap cos I've got a lot on with college, work etc so can't leave everything til last minute.0 -
