Was in Tesco today and they had a lovely christmas doll/teddy thing priced at £8 ish, quite large bought would make a lovely elf. She was red/white striped.

Hi, for those of you who havnet yet got an elf there is something on facebook called knitted keepsakes, she is currently making hand knitted elves and they look really cute - unfortunately i already ordered mine off ebay otherwise i would have been having one, i stumbled across it because my friend has ordered one from there.

I was in B&M Home store yesterday and bought a Santa toilet seat cover for £1.99 and they also had Christmas bedding for £7.99 and Christmas themed pyjamas for £3.99.

I also picked up some magic snow powder in poundland which is supposed to expand 100 times its original size when water is added to it - Has anyone used this before, is it any good?

Wow.. I love the sound of the toilet seat cover! what's it like?

As for the snow powder, I've never used it as I've always been really dubious of this stuff... and whether it will leave marks or take colouring off things?? if anyone who has used it before can say any different?

Last year I got my fake snow (from poundshop too) and it was a bagful of stuff like the ribbons you get to wrap around presents... but it was a lot finer and cut into tiny pieces... made a mess but was really easy to clear up with the hoover and didn't leave any marks anywhere!
