theres a certain brand of herbal tea bags (spiced apple flavour ) and they only seem to sell them in our local tesco now and again so i buy all the boxes on the shelf(8 last time
)when i see them in as they prob wont be in for a while again, i must look crazy:rotfl: 0 -
. ... if there are two of you, use two trollies, and pay separately - that way you are two customers; it sounds from your post as if you were combining your shop - you can always split it up once you get home.
Good move too for anyone who needs to buy more than the regulation two packs of paracetamol, get friend to go through til as seperate customer
The power of these big shops worries me; get everyone in there so they no longer have a choice then get everyone to live by their rules...and if you have insurance, clubcard, etc with them, there's not much they dont know about you (even your pets' names?)0 -
All the power they have has been given to them by their customers and so customers really dont have any grounds to complain about the amount of power they now have, in my opinion. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

At the end of the day, its not fair on other paying Customers to loose out by greedy people buying all the special offers! It should be limited to so many items per Customer, this way its fair for all.The views expressed on this website, be they in text, pictures or sound, are my own personal views. Not those of my employer, its staff or colleagues.0

I work at Sainsburys and I've never seen them do that before. In fact we don't even have a policy on how many special offer items a customer can purchase. One time I remember this guy brought all of our Coca Cola bottles...must have been well over a hundred of them. And I'm sure that he had a shop that he wanted to sell them in. But we never refused him.0

Well why dont you buy 10 walk out put them in the car then go back in and buy another 10 and so on. Nothing he can do then as its not at one time.Filiss0

Maybe they are worried you would spark panic buying. There is a funny side, if I am with my kids and we see a big queue or someone getting a massive bulk buy we say 'there must be a war on'.
Keep doing it to keep us entertained! I cannot afford to buy in bulk;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Agreed. If this policy was really out of order and it made people hate shopping at Tescos, surely the store wouldnt be doing quite so well as it is! imo it seems reasonable and I hate it when anything thats on offer is always sold out
