all i'm saying is that if you want an immediate answer you should call customer relations.0

it isn't why they make you wait, 1/2 an hour is exceptional circumstances, we have enough colleagues to deal with customer phone calls, try calling in the evening, they're open until 11pm.0

I work at asda, at our store we have been told to take off 10% of the whole bill in coupons except the ones out of the asda mag which you have to buy the product because we cant claim those back off other retailers or manufacturers. In the past we have taken other stores coupons but we dont anymore.
Over the past few months we have had numerous fake coupons ( some for £5 & £10 ) and fake gift vouchers handed in, this amounting to quite a lot of money. Also we have had people coming in with say £15.00 worth of manufacturers coupons just to buy an electrical product or other expensive products and this same group of people come in a few times a week and try every checkout, this has being going on for quite a while.
I myself use coupons and agree we all like a good bargain, but some people are spoiling it for everyone else0 -

Oops clicked the thanks instead of quote.:o
This was in the evening. 7.15pm infact and last week it was 15 minutes at 6.30pm.
Just found the pears are mushy so I am not ringing again but taking them to the shop tomorrow. They refund you in the shop anyway so why waste a phone call.
And why isnt the number free if Asda are concerned about customer service? (only talking about the number on the bill here)
Dont get me wrong I much prefer online shopping but its annoying to wait and wait on the phone. The call ends up costing as much as the product. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
ASDA Oadby had slackened up their coupon policy just slightly this week - for the last two weeks they have only taken four vouchers, but this week the till accepted FIVE. My lovely SA, who always tries her best for me, tried a sixth, at which point the till bleeped its objection and the officiator lady came over to see she did not take the sixth coupon.
It seems to have nothing to do with the old 10% off policy, as my coupons only added up to £1.25 and I had £76-odds worth of shopping.
Still, a bit of lightening up, however small, is welcome.

exactly.
i think the point here is that we all need to keep it in perspective. None of us are 'owed' anything in terms of moc etc, it is a bonus when we get it, and should be thankful. Yes at the end of the day this site is about getting our own back at companies, but if we take the mick then we will ALL lose out.
Be grateful for what you get, not greedy.
(Rant over)
