:rotfl: Choo!! We dont have a self service and I dont think I would dare hand over all the vouchers. You did get a lot for your money, might have to pop into town one lunchtime and grab myself some bargains!

I am not afraid to be cheeky and try it on, it just didn't work this time. I just pleaded ignorance when the assistant told me it was one voucher per transaction :rotfl:
DN is a horror, my DS bit a child once at the age of 2 and thats the only biting incident we ever had with either of them xx0 -
Good Morning
Just a quick update as work is mega busy.
Two loads of washing are out on the line so will get those ironed tonight and then thats all the ironing done.
I had a quick look through all the top up receipts last night and the main areas of overspending were on
Bread - buy extra each week and freeze
Milk - ditto
Deserts - again buy frozen sponge puddings and tinned custard to keep for emergencies
Picnic food - no need for plan as this was just over the school holidays
After school teas for visiting children - keep an emergency pack of fish fingers/nuggets and chips buried in the big freezer. My 2 will eat whatever is been cooked but I know that some of their friends are abit more picky and like traditional "kid" food.
Its all about organising my grocery shopping more efficiently to cut out the extra trips to the shops. It would also save time which is always a bonus.
Talking about organisational skills - no lunch made at home again today so had to buy a sandwich on the way into work.
List for lunchtime
Pay some money and cheques into the bank
Look for some cheap casual trousers for holiday for myself and DD
I've taken some chicken out of the freezer for tonight so its a thai chicken curry for dinner tonight with rice and naan breads
Right back to work xxx0 -
Good Evening
Home at last, the boss was in and making the most of every minute of my time today before I go on my jollies. Ten minutes before I wanted to leave I was asked to give him a quick financial overview, fine but it takes me about 20 minutes to pull it all together. Then a customer phoned querying an invoice and wanted it re-doing.
I am knac***ed, DH has started the curry so now I'm having a quick catch up on here with a beer!
No ironing will be done tonight, will get up early tomorrow and do it.
Went to M&S at lunchtime and bought DD some items from the sale so thats part of her winter wardrobe sorted.
Right dinnertime otherwise I will be eating the cat soon xxx0 -
Morning Choo,
I absolutely hate it when people want things from you just as your about to leave work! Glad you finally made it home and you enjoyed your beer and curry.
Is it tonight you go? If so hope you have a fantastic time xxxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning
Mummy - it is annoying, especially when he'd had all day to request the info, but all got done and I've left a tidy desk.
Its tomorrow afternoon that we go to the airport hotel as we fly out early Saturday morning.
I've requested a £10 payout from a survey site so that should go into paypal 1/9/11. I'm 35 points away from a £30 payout so hopefully will get another survey before we go away and I can claim it.
I've bathed the kids this morning so they're all clean and smell nice again.
One load of washing has been done so will peg it out before we head out to buy tracksuits and school shoes for DD. Its my Mums birthday while we are away so I need to sort a present out so will pop to M&S for that. I will also have another look at the sale and see if there are any other bits available.
Will also go to Mr As and pick up a book to read and a bottle of wine for the hotel room tomorrow night, car sweets and desert for tomorrow night. We're planning on going to Pizza Hut for tea tomorrow night as kids eat free so will have pud in the hotel room afterwards.
Todays List
Buy remaining school bits
Clean house
Ironing
Mr S internet order
Pack
The kids are driving me mad they are over-excited so they're now out playing on their scooters to try and burn off some nervous energy.
Right time for some breakfast and then head out xxx0 -
£30 cheque claimed, nearly packed and ready to head off on holiday
School uniform and shoes all sorted
Catch up when we get back xxx0 -
