!!
Ive got personalised cards from there before, one card I got was a friends name spelt out in smarties and I think with a half price code it was about 89p with free delivery. Cant go wrong with that!
Can you get DS's trousers delivered to your local store to save on delivery costs? I did think with DD's coat from M n S.
Enjoy your ironing  xx
Thanks Mummytogirls - I will send you a PM and if you could refer me that would be great.
I am going to order the trousers from M&S as the town store has also been picked over!
Still haven't started my ironing as MIL has being talking at me on the phone for half an hour, asking me ridiculous questions, such as Do i think theres as much choice in the shops anymore?
MIL thinks that there was more choice for household gadgets in the olden days!
DS is driving me mad, he has the same gene as MIL in asking ridiculous questions - could be the end of the school holidays induced drinking scenario :rotfl:
Do you know what I just CBA to do the ironing now :mad:0 -
Good Morning
Happy August
Why do we spend all winter looking forward to Summer and then we get cr*ppy weather?
I came into work half an hour later this morning and won't take a lunchbreak today for 2 reasons
1) Its peeing it down
2) Town will probably be heaving at lunchtime
I didn't take any bread out of the freezer last night so couldn't make any sandwiches this morning so I picked up a sandwich on my way into work
I also found a cardi for my replaced dress in M&S - I picked it up and it said £15 on the label, when I got to the till there was 20% off so I only paid £12. I had a £10 voucher so I've only had to pay £2 out of real money :T
Need to go shopping for a few bits after work, kids are at MILs so at least I don't have take them with me.
Better get on with some work0 -
Good Morning
I didn't make it to Mr S last night as I had to work abit later so I have the joy of taking the kids shopping this afternoon.
I've ordered DS trousers and got free delivery to home so thats one less thing to think about.
Its raining again here so no chance of getting out to the park.
I've finally got my paypal account set up so requested the £15 survey money and I have a few others I need to request payment from as well.
Just feeling abit bleurgh at the moment - job/boss are getting to me again, cra**y weather and fighting kids aren't helping alot either.
Catch up soon xx0 -
Afternoon Choo,
Sorry I didnt get round to seeing your PM on Tuesday I was just rushed off my feet at work yesterday I didnt get on here.
I know youve bought some now but in the future next time you need cards I will refer you. You get £3 credit too which is good.
Re the kids it must be something in the air as mine have been little swines recently too. Maybe its all down to the weather!
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Morning
Mummy - I have sent you a PM with my email address
Another grey, miserable day again so no chance of getting the washing out. The basket is overflowing but I'm waiting for a nicer day, maybe tomorrow or Sunday it might brighten up.
DH received a cheque for £15 yesterday for some work shares dividends so that will be going into the decorating fund.
The plans for today are
1) Blitz our bedroom and bathroom
2) Clean and tidy the rest of upstairs
3) Look at school uniform and make a list of whats still required
We were supposed to be going camping this weekend, but our friends have cancelled due to the inclement weather. I suppose we could still have gone but we're going on holiday next weekend so it would be nice to get organised at home before we go away.
The garage is a bombsite again due to various reasons so it needs a quick tidy up and a visit to the tip with some rubbish and that should be sorted again.
I think thats about it from me, time to go and dry my hair xxx0 -
Morning choo, we have pants weather again as well, DH and DS are off camping for the weekend tomorrow, they are having a boys fishing trip, not my idea of fun but it keeps the pair of them out of trouble.
My washing pile is huge, just doing the bits we need at the minute as trying to get it dry is a nightmare.0 -
Good Afternoon
Pennywise - I hope they get decent weather for camping, nothing worse than soggy camping.
Well I have blitzed the bathroom, looked at the school stuff and done some earrands.
School bits left to buy
1 pair trousers DS - 3rd pair comes in handy
1 pinafore - DD
Pack up bags/boxes
White socks - DD
School shoes - DD
I need to also get them to try their tracksuits on to see whether they still fit.
I've also done one load of washing and pegged it out, weather is fine but no sun.
Right back to the bedroom blitz xxx0 -
Good Morning
Is this really sun that I can see? There are also some black clouds so its not going to last for long.
Todays list
Strip our bed and wash - done
Finish cleaning upstairs
Clean downstairs
Mahoosive pile of washing
Ironing
The postman brought another dividend cheque for £17 so thats going towards the redecorating fund.
I've also switched energy suppliers to EDF onto their fixed plan until September 2012, we got a letter from them yesterday saying that our monthly dd would be £89 instead of £115 which we are currently paying so the difference of £26 a month can also go to the decorating fund.
DS is at footie training this morning and then out with a friend this afternoon, so I think we'll take DD to McDs for her tea as a special treat (why kids think McDs is a treat always baffles me but hey ho) I personally can't think of anything worse than eating there but the coffee is half decent and cheap so we'll have a coffee whilst she eats.
I'm doing sausages, horseradish mash and balsamic onion gravy for our dinner tonight so we'll have it after the kids have gone to bed.
A week until we go away and I've not even thought about what we're all taking or anything. Hey ho it will happen - no point stressing about it.
The one thing that the past year has taught me is that things that used to stress me big time just don't matter anymore.
Enough of my ramblings, hope everyone has a lovely day xxx0 -

You might already have done so but if not I would advise you check your last years use and calculate it to your new tarrif before you accept their DD suggestion. When I first signed up to them they told me I would have a £60 DD and I had to phone them and say it was ridiculous and could I pay £100. Saves any nasty extras to pay later.
If you've got your meter readings you can do a fairly accurate calculation here - http://www.ukpower.co.uk/tools/smart_meter_calculatorLBM April 2011 £4906
