    Good Evening

Well today has been a spendy day, I've done the grocery shopping at Mr Ms for a change and boy it was so busy everybody is obviously shopping today so that they can watch the wedding.

I've also done quite alot of studying so feel abit more confident, I just need to keep at it but the end really is in sight now and I can't wait :j

The kids also took some money for the school disco and they bought far too many sweets and pop and both have come back buzzing with major sugar overload :rotfl:however they eat healthily 90% of the time so its not going to hurt.

Tomorrow afternoon we're going to a friends house for a Royal Wedding party bbq so I've bought some fizz and need to make a desert in the morning and I'll probably iron whilst watching the wedding.

Right thats about it from me xx

    Good Morning

It feels like its ages since I've posted but its only been 2 days!

Well its been a busy few days - thanks Mummytogirls, we did have a lovely day

    Friday
I made a huge raspberry pavlova to take to the bbq and it turned out quite well. I managed to watch the wedding whilst tackling my ironing pile and thought that Kate looked lovely and they both looked so happy. I do feel for her though, shes entering a world that is so different from her own upbringing and it must be daunting and overwhelming for her. I just hope that they get some space to enjoy their early days of married life. The pressure on her to produce a heir is also immense.
The bbq went well, the weather stayed fine although it was really cold. I didn't drink alot, I'm just not bothered about it anymore.

    Saturday
Yesterday was a trip to the hairdressers to get my roots done so have spent my hairdressing budget for the month.
I'm so disciplined at the hairdressers now - no buying fancy products or having a special conditioning treatment, I'd sooner put the money into a box to spend on my own family rather than boosting her profits.
We had a look round at some kitchen showrooms as our kitchen is now 15 years old so will need updating at some point next year when we've sorted ourselves out. Its the incentive to become debt free :T I can't wait to start planning it and feel quite excited now that its going to be a reality.

DH and I would like some savings as well, £3k would be nice - just to have as a back up.

Today - the housework has been neglected so I need to have a quick swish and swipe, washing and ironing later. Might manage to get out to a NT property later for a walk and blow of fresh air.

No revision today - will hit the books big time again next week!

Thats about it from me - time for some toast and coffee xx

    Good Evening

Its been a busy day - we decided to give the garage a good blitz and de-clutter and its taken us all day. We've made about 10 trips to the tip and put aside alot of things that we can do a carboot sale with. DS bike is looking too small for him and he's hinted that he would like a bigger one for his birthday so we'll have to start saving up for it. Anyhting that we can make at a car boot sale can go towards a new one for him.

All the ironing is done but theres still loads of washing to be done. I need to pay DH credit card bill tonight as he's submitted his expenses which will cover it all (big relief again for another month)

Back to work tomorrow and revision tonight - non stop fun round here!

Thanks Abba, it's lovely to get something done that neither of us wanted to do and hence kept putting off - at least we can have the garage door open now and not feel ashamed when anyone walks past xx

    Good Morning

Back to work today - boooo but at least its only a four day week.

Not much happening today - just catching up with the pile of work on my desk and replying to emails etc.

I am aiming to have as many NSDs as possible in May - who knows I might just manage one today. I also need to refocus on doing surveys again - I need to earn some money for the reward handbag.

Revision is going well, it seems to be slowly sinking in but DH is now getting increasingly fed up of sitting downstairs on his own every night.

I was abit naughty over the weekend, I've re-subscribed to BBC Good Food magazine, I bought last months issue (the first magazine I've bought in months) and inside there was a special offer - the next three issues for £3 and then £15 for the next 6 issues after that. The magazine costs £3.50 I think so if I was to buy 9 issues that would cost me £31.50 but its only going to cost me £18 so a saving of £13.50 has been made, I love cooking and I've really missed my magazine subscription and its a real treat when it arrives through the post every month.

DH has got his annual review at work today and he will be given his rating which will influence his payrise % and hopefully bonus payout. Anything would be welcome - just to shave a month off the DFD would be much appreciated.

Had a quick mooch around the Mons**n website this morning and there is a gorgeous dress on there, it would really brighten me up for work. It costs £65  however I have a voucher for £10 off a £50 spend and a £20 gift voucher, £12 left over from my clothes budget for this month and then £20 clothes budget next month so I would only be £3 short which could be "borrowed" from the grocery budget. Will leave it until the end of May and then review, I could leave it until the sale but then I wouldn't be able to use the money off voucher.

Right enough skiving from me, back to work xxx
