'due to the circumstances surrounding the baby's birth we cannot have the baptism at our church'

... make of that what you will.. this is the church my other 8 children have been going to for the last 19 years!!

Guess who has an email going straight off to the bishop of York.. Hateful spiteful sanctimonious evil disgusting dispicable man (the vicar not the bishop.. he is very pleasant by all accounts)... Obviously FW has bad-mouthed me to him as well.. I think he is forgetting who left the house and who came home with things he shouldn't after being with people he shouldn't have been with doing things he shouldn't have!

Now.. do I ALSO send an email in response saying exactly why he did leave.. down to the last insect??? OR.. do I take him up on his offer of 'talking about this very carefully' and telling him in person.. hhhmm... Looks like she is being baptised at the church OH's mum attends!

Then we have the logistics of getting at least 19 people 120miles for 10:30am on a Sunday..

Those feathers? .. They are the ones I am spitting!

if Sentamu can't/won't help then have you thought of trying your local paper to do a story? I do know the chief reporter of the York Press, though that's probably not much use to you...

Isn't the house of god supposed to be always open?

    Morning all

Had a bit of a lie-in and watched the news with a couple of cuppas. Breakfast decluttered, now I'm going to update my budget before a couple of hours flying. Then DS2 and I are going to head out, first to town and possibly to costco to return something and pick up some of the current offers.

Have a good Saturday, everyone. x

ETA I've left my diary with all budget details at work, so I'll have to limit myself to essentials when I'm out, until I know what the situation is. DH and I were supposed to go to M'hell one day next week for late night shopping, but that will depend on whether he's talking to me at the time.
Just waiting for DSs to finish their jog on the Wii, as I can't get past them. See you all later.

Only if we can run the C*** over with it!!! (I am not yet calm)

It is, but he is a horrible man.. and another reason I wouldn't go subject myself to his sermons is the fac they are often very homophobic or chauvanistic and I couldn't just sit and take it.. I'd argue I know I would!

Also, ex-SIL and her creepy foul husband are well up his derriere and well in with the God Squad so I'll have been slated something terrible.. given the lies KH told everyone I am certain they will have been more embellished by his family.

Change of plan - I'll postpone town and costco until next weekend, as they're not essential today. Saves diesel, too. Flying instead, and a walk up into the village later. I've just got to check my Mr M leaflet whether I can still get enough qualifying receipts if I don't go there this weekend. If not - well, at least it's only a few minutes from here and I can give the shops in the village a miss.
