Dailies done, apart from hoovering which will do after a trip to the park. Beef in beer in the slow cooker, front garden mown, plants planted, front door scrubbed - I didn't quite polish the front step (:D) as DS2 decided to fill the toilet with paper and needed sorting out:mad:. 3 loads of washing done so I will be ironing tonight, or maybe a bath - I forgot to do that half hour for yourself earlier in the week ;).

    Hi All,

Sorry I've been MIA this week, done a bit of flying :o, not enough I'm afaid.

Also I've tightened the fittings for the blades on the ceiling fans, they can become loose during the summer? months, so remember to check yours if you have them.

Hugs, spoons and sticks to all in need.

Chicken carcass in SC for soup tonight (nomnom)

OH has lost his wallet , I know it was in the house on Wednesday night. I emptied the bins, dustman came Thurs morn. Then he tells me, "Oh, something fell from the side table, dunno what it was tho"
    :mad::mad: Mutter, mutter.

Still he thinks it fell in the bin and I threw it away.

Stopping smoking is going quite well, all things considered.

Gutted, just been outbid by £2 on a dolls house on ebay!!!!!

If you are close enough to come get the one from my bathroom PLEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE come get it!!!!!!!!!!

I am absolutely 100% serious.. it needs a bit of glue to stick a bay window back on and a tiny bit of fascia but is going to end up ruined if noone comes and saves it!

We are going over to OH mums next weekend if that is any easier for you? I'll even look at postage costs if you wish?

erm... do I sound desperate to get rid yet?

    Afternoon all,

Well I've been for my traditional Saturday morning Starbucks breakfast, and ran into LadyL. She says to say hello. She's sorry that she's not been online, but has been really down recently with family stuff, and didn't even venture out of the house for 3 weeks (not even into her garden). I'm not sure when she'll be back online again, as she's still going through a tough time at the moment. I told her that some of the flyladies have been sending their best wishes. She also says thank you for all of the text messages that she's received from some of the regular flyladies who know her, and sorry if she's not replied - she's not had the energy to do an awful lot at all recently. Keeping my fingers crossed that things start to improve for her, and that the people who are making her life hell at the moment get their comeuppance.

Tried to contact my supposed bridesmaid today again, as she's not been answering emails or calls (when I get hold of her, I'm going to get the dress back off her that I bought her), and she wasn't in. I've decided the best line of attack is to just turn up on her doorstep on the offchance she's in, as all other methods of communication seem to have failed. She's obviously made up her mind that she's not going to be my bridesmaid, and has decided instead of telling me outright, to just avoid me (don't think I want her as my bridesmaid anyway now the amount she has mucked me around - Moon and I will have a much better time if it's just the two of us, as we won't have to worry about her being ok in the other hotel all honeymoon). Why do people have to be so immature and unreliable? Sorry for the rant.

    God Bless LadyL.

There is a rule of weddings that says someone who isn't the bride or groom always has to get the idea that its all about them instead.
    Sorry its your bridesmaid though.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Today I moved one of the big bookcases from the alcove beside the thermostat. Everything removed and the whole lot and floor area cleaned. Quite like how its all rearranged. 1 bag to go to charity shop.

    2 lots of washing done.
    Shepherds pie made.
    Shopping done for weekend

Went to see mum this afternoon. She is so frail and tired now. She gave me a little smile and had a few tears. Well we both did. My DB and SIL are thinking of coming down as they are worried about mum and worried about me even though Im coping.

Off for a cuppa and to watch a bit tv.

froddington Thoughts and prayers for the girls family and hugs for you.
sexymouse Thanks for letting us know how Lady L is.
pigpen No wonder you are mad at that vicar.

Hugs and spoons for everyone specially Toots. Lady L Diva and LW.
