Afternoon all
Been to the school craft fayre, didn't take long as it was very poor. Hate to say that but the head has created such bad feeling in the school that the lovely feeling it used to have is no more and hence neither are the donations.
DH has fixed my bike using an old tyre from his bike so that is done until I decide on a new one probably in the spring now.
Washing on the line so going to do a few bits on here and then pop to Mr M for my £40 shop and some petrol.
Toots - I am tired! I had been to a friends with a few others and came home late and then stupidly put the pc on when I got in before bed. Hope you are ok today sweetie. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I hope her family can find peace knowing she meant so much to others and is free from all the things in life that held her back.. Crappy job you have sometimes.. though I am certain you see so many positives too! xx

Thanks everyone - you are all so kind :A
pigpen - you're right, there are many more positives than negatives but times like this don't get any easier. Thanks xx
Toots - we were talking about that after school yesterday and remembering her smile and cheekiness! She did make us laugh at times and was a strong character until this hit her a month ago. She will be remembered with fondness in the future xx

Afternoon all,
Well I've been for my traditional Saturday morning Starbucks breakfast, and ran into LadyL. She says to say hello. She's sorry that she's not been online, but has been really down recently with family stuff, and didn't even venture out of the house for 3 weeks (not even into her garden). I'm not sure when she'll be back online again, as she's still going through a tough time at the moment. I told her that some of the flyladies have been sending their best wishes. She also says thank you for all of the text messages that she's received from some of the regular flyladies who know her, and sorry if she's not replied - she's not had the energy to do an awful lot at all recently. Keeping my fingers crossed that things start to improve for her, and that the people who are making her life hell at the moment get their comeuppance.
Flying wise, this week I've been keeping on top of the dailies as much as possible, although Mount Washmore has suffered due to the bad weather - there was no way I was going out to the garage in the monsoon-style rain and gale-force winds we've had here this week. So, there is one load in the wash as we speak. I've also finally taken the shower head off, and it is soaking in a cup full of vinegar, which I will then use to descale the kettle before using the boiled vinegar to clean the kitchen sink (multitasking at its best). Moon is hopefully going to do a bit more tidying tomorrow as he won't be shooting all day, so the house should look nice if my ex-colleagues come over for a coffee on Friday. He's cleared some of the stuff out of the spare room, so once he's had a look at the vaccuum cleaner (it doesn't seem to be sucking properly despite having been emptied), I can give that a good going over.
Tried to contact my supposed bridesmaid today again, as she's not been answering emails or calls (when I get hold of her, I'm going to get the dress back off her that I bought her), and she wasn't in. I've decided the best line of attack is to just turn up on her doorstep on the offchance she's in, as all other methods of communication seem to have failed. She's obviously made up her mind that she's not going to be my bridesmaid, and has decided instead of telling me outright, to just avoid me (don't think I want her as my bridesmaid anyway now the amount she has mucked me around - Moon and I will have a much better time if it's just the two of us, as we won't have to worry about her being ok in the other hotel all honeymoon). Why do people have to be so immature and unreliable? Sorry for the rant.
I'm still getting used to driving my new car - parallel parked it for the first time yesterday and completely messed it up, as I'm not used to having power steering, so oversteered. I'm ashamed to admit that I also kept on looking out of the classroom window throughout the day to check it was still ok.
Well I'd better be off and write out the meal plans for the week - I bought the food without a list, so hopefully have enough, and haven't got too much either.
Hugs for Froddy and best wishes to the little girl's family.
