i dont buy the express normally and only brought it for this offer i didnt get a copy of the game but i thought ok i also missed out on some free biscuits in the star as well (im more gutted about the biscuits i think) but while i was in the que waiting i couldnt believe some of the abuse the poor checkout girls were getting there were families in with about 4-5 kids and all had a voucher treying to get a game
surely they should have presaw the mad rush to get themReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. this was an absoulute farce in my local store they only had 45 copies but had more than 250 people wanting it they should have planned it better
my store would be hard pushed to get 45 people in let alone 250 you must have all been crammed in.
i got mine around 11.30 obviously the first the sales assistant had seen as she asked what paper it was as she would go and get one next door in marks.0 -

Should this still be in grabbit ??
I don't think there was anything stopping people physically picking up the phone in the morning to reserve - which at the time I did not even think to do.
Big thank you to all those who helped others - myself included - to get one via their phones.:A

Just my 2 penny worth, but I think the major gripe with the reserving is firstly, how many people have an iphone? Probably only those who can afford to pay out for the game in the first place, and secondly, there still is people offering out reservation codes meaning you got greedy and deprived someone who actually got off their backside and trapsed into town to queue for it....why????
With any really good offer like this there is never going to be thousands of them about so you expect them to go out quickly. Personally I was the only one queueing at 10am in my local store but then I live near a town, not a city, never the less, not everyone is going to get one, and from the way the iphone glitch was bandied about it wouldn't suprise me if there were stores that opened with none available and really whose fault is that???
Also, before you go making excuses about busy, kids, timing and the rest of it, I managed the mile and a half walk to town pushing a double buggy with 2 kids under 3 dressed and breakfasted to get a paper and to be on the doors of Argos at 10am to get one because I CAN'T afford to pass up the offer of making christmas a bit easier on the purse, if you didn't get one blame those who reserved them all before the store opened or yourself for not wanting it enough to get off your !!!! and out the house early enough (disabled and sick excluded).0 -
If people reserved are they still being able to pick the game up today?0
