  • I would just like to point out that I too have been taken in by this company, I am areasonably intelligent woman in an unfortunate situation. In a moment of desparation I registered with this company and they took £74.95 from my account. Yes I put in my card details BUT it was my understanding that the money wouldnt be taken until I was found a suitable loan, which they didnt do!!! I am still attempting to get my money back and have now contacted Consumer Advice.

Please try and understand that these people prey on people who are desparate and therefore perhaps rush through applications resulting in missing the small print. I did check the FAQ but nothing is mentioned in there. In my opion they are nothing but crooks.

Lucy, lets face it, you didn't pay attention to what you were doing. You put all your banking details down. And money was taken.

    Wake up

    Smell the coffee.

Stop accusing companies of being thieves when realistically it is your idiocy that should be held accountable.
This company di exactly what they say on the tin, found you a lender that is most likely to help you.

IMO, you didn't deserve a refund. Because now they wasted their time helping you for nothing.

    Adieu :)

And Crazyguy - I see your telling everyone to go to the FOS.

Please be reminded that a customer must first go through a companies internal complaints procedure before wasting the FOS's time.

Not explicitly - then again, you didn't ask them not to post - not that it matters as it is a public forum and Wally2010 gives the right advice - people must exhaust the company's internal complaints procedure before approaching the FOS.

There you go - another post you didn't order :P

I've seen on another forum that these guys don't actually find you a lender but find someone who will lend you money if you have someone tostand guarntee. Essentually it is the guarntee who is taking out the loan.

    !!!!!!?? Truly a crazy guy
  • hi,i was looking for a pay day loan last month, and got declined with the one i was applying for and was automatically transfered to the loan centre, and by that point they'd already had my bank details from the loan company i was applying for. I did cancel as soon as i read the terms and conditions and how they work on the companies home page. The next day i went on my on line banking and they had took 74pound out of my account,i emailed them straight away and explained what had happened, and that i didn't actually sign up to them i was automatically transferred to them,i got no reply so after a further 10 emails i sent them that day,i finally got a reply of them and was told my member ship as been cancelled and can have a full refund if i write to them. I wrote to them the next day recorded post,i did'nt here anything from them so i went on royal mail web site to see if they had signed for my letter and it said they had no answer from the address. I emailed them again and again with my royal mail tracking number and eventually got a email back stating il get a full refund in 30 days,i did eventually get a refund 7days after which iam happy about :). I will most defo not be applying for anything over the internet again,as you don't know who could get your details.

What is the name PayDay Loan company that you used? I ask so that others can avoid them.

Glad you got a "positive" result on your refund from the loan centre.
