The sports really under the cosh IMO are footie (rugby league) and rugby (union). They are basically being supplanted by soccer or 'wogball' as it is called by the charming racists in this country. Mums don't want their kids coming back from sport on a Saturday afternoon with a broken collar bone any more. It used to be a part of childhood.
That's the first thing I noticed when I went back after a long absence. Our football was never discussed or played when I lived there. Being in Melbourne, we had an AFL ground nearby and that was the main sport, followed by cricket. You'd never hear the football results, let alone play it in a park or support a team. Now my uncle - after a goodness knows how long hiatus - watches Arsenal play from his house in Qld and you see kids in the park in footie kits. Sky has a lot to answer for in that respect. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

My guess? 1-1 so England retain the trophy. I think both sides will struggle just to take 20 wickets. Swann will be the key man.
Well I was right about the Aussies struggling to take 20 wickets (they only managed it 5 times so far in the series and only 3 times for less than 500 runs. I was less so about the 1-1 and very wrong about England's ability to take wickets.
The Aussies are in despair:

Gutted!AUSTRALIA is three wickets away from defeat in the fifth Ashes Test after another dominant display by England with the bat and ball.
In the final session, the look on one mans face spoke for a shattered nation.
At 4.37pm, Michael Clarke screamed in anguish as England destroyer James Anderson ran past with his arms spread in triumph. Clarke's expression was twisted with pain and defeat. Australias doomed Ashes campaign is ending in farce and frustration.
@vivatifosi - I went on day 1 and despite the cloud cover and even rain, I still had my factor 30 and my hat. You'd have been proud.0 -

The response...? "Yes, Haddins out. Oh bl00dy hull, Johnson's out too now. !!!!!! do you want?"0 -
