145k diesel
Looking at viewing a Renault Laguna Diesel later
It's done 146k
Cambelt done 3k ago. Full service history etc.
Should i be concerned at the mileage ? Never failed an m.o.t and next one due next year.

Beware the electrical systems. I personally would not worry about the engine, providing it has been serviced properly.Skip dipper and proud....0

MY VW golf diesel has just gone over 125k. New clutch and Duel Mass Flywheel yesterdy. £932. Bushes last month £100. Some injection part last month £200.
The engine these days are fine, but be aware major parts wear out.
I would check what has already worn out and been replaced.
Its obaviously going to be cheap due to the milage, but you really want to see a list of things that have been replaced over time.
Most important thing being the brakes would have been replaced/serviced a number of times over that period of milage.0 -
145,000-miles in most cars is acceptable these days, especially a diesel. Given this one appears to have been well looked after I really don't think you have anything to worry about.0

My Peugeot 405 did 235k before I 'scrappaged' it.0

If it is the 1.9dci engine leave well alone they are !!!!!!.turbo failure very common resulting in car grinding to a halt in cloud of smoke and noise, engine normally ingests broken bits of compressor wheel.
If it is the 2.0 they are a better engine but do suffer with dual mass flywheel failure which can be as much as £1k to put right.0 -
As said the 1.9 DCi engine is a well known hand grenade of a lump, they go through turbos, the injection system goes pop.
I like the look of Lagunas, always have, but I would only ever have a petrol.0 -
My 04 plate MK3 Mondeo TDCi is now at 145000 and running fine. I fully expect to get 250k out of it. Next week its doing a 600 mile round trip to Wales to watch the WRC. Like the 1400 mile round trip to France, it'll get a cursory check of oil and water and that'll be it.0

I'd be much more concerned with the badge on the back than the mileage.0
