She's 65 but I'm certainly not wishing that to happen and don't rely on that. My dad is also pretty wealthy with about 3 million in assets so may well inherit in the future but he's fit and healthy at 68 so again I could be I'm my 70s before that happens and I've always been taught to stand on my own two feet so none of this forms part of my retirement plans
So, why mention it?0 -
He could marry a pole dancer and leave you with nothing,0

I've just re-done a jigsaw that my sister gave me years ago (yes folks that is what your loft is for), It was a male pole dancer - never actually met one - but I am sure it would have been fun! When you reach a certain age fun becomes to quote an advert "priceless".0 -

As a former semi pro bellydancer, I can assure you there are male bellydancers.
I used to go to the big belly dance weekender in Glastonbury for quite a few years, and amidst around 350 women would be this one man, 40s, looked like an accountant and I always thought that was the definition of bravery.0 -

Honestly, I really do think to talk about what one might inherit once a family member has passed, is in exceedingly bad taste.0 -

Fair enough I can assure you it wasn't meant in that way. Often when talking about retirement plans inherited wealth is discussed (i know large numbers of people where in fact that is their sole plan for retirement!) I was merely giving information. And knowing both my mum and my dad it is entirely possible for it to be left to a belly dancer or the dogs trust or both.0 -

I wish your parents a long and happy life.......but as a bellydancer whose will is set up in favour of Dogs Trust, I'm seeing a synergy.0 -

My sister was a bartender in a male dance bar lol. She said the woment spectators were out of control lol.
Anyway, it is the father that is worth millions, and fit for his age. hence my comment on remarriage.0
