Woo hoo to that letter! And the friend - tho boo to the plumbing explosion, and omigod, what were you *on* on Saturday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: you got so much done!
Good for you :j:j:j
The only thing I've done in that vein is I bought some "live herbs" from Sainsbo - coriander and basil - they're sitting happily on the windowsill right now, total cost £2.19, but I'll split them up and get at least four pots each from them. If I can find my pots, oops.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hooray for live herbs! I've planted some basil, although never had much luck with it from seed before.
Feeling a bit achy from the tree-chopping/pulling adventures - they had massive roots!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I bet you're achey! Still, its a good, positive ache, you'll be fine.
I'm absolutely rubbish with seeds - I know why, I drown them, and I always mean to water them less, but I can't get the balance right, so this seems like a good compromise.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi all, sorry my internets been down at home this weekend so had to wait till I get into work to reply.
Not sure if it will be a big wedding, I would prefer something smaller but we have large families and don't want to upset anyone! I think i'll be quite happy being engaged for the timebeing!
Pooky your wedding sounded lovely, I would like to be very hands on with my wedding with regards to the food/cake etc so you have given me some ideas
Squizz my partner grows chilli plants, pepper plants etc, has been for quite a few years now, there are so many different kinds to grow!
This weekend I went out for drinks and a dance with some friends on Friday then had a very very quiet weekend since then. Made a nice change...... hardly spent any money (as I don't actually have any!) and cooked lots of lovely food
Feeling very happy today as its Valentines, out for a meal tonight (won a voucher in a raffle) and then home for maybe some wine hehe.
You's have plans for Valentines day? xxx0 -
Sounds like a great weekend
Not really bothering with Valentines day. neither of us are that bothered about it. Might see what chocolates/ pink fizzy wine we can find reduced tomorrow thoughDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
My posh frock wedding in April is being done in a very mse way, tho I don't think they come on here ..... the invites went out by email! They're paying for it themselves, no rich parents (my ex SIL is pretty well off, but now retired, I think, and she's the best off, so no help anywhere) you have to spend on what really matters.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Groupon.fr does indeed exist "Regalez-vous en plein quartier St-Germain des Pres avec 2 entrees, 2 plats, 2 desserts et 2 flûtes de champagne pour 29 euros au lieu 68 euros au Bistro 34" :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
