  • Ach.. I didn't expect to come back to tons of emails and a load of hassley things to sort out. Was hoping for an easy morning as I'm a bit tired! Got my counselling tomorrow... still not totally sure what I'm going to say but I have been thinking about it; a lot of things are more work-related than I thought so I feel quite justified going to the service that work provide.

Still, yes, weekend was lovely... and I am still smooth and shiny lol :D

OK.. counselling was.. OK. She was very nice - possibly too nice if you know what I mean, and I felt I was left to do a lot of the talking, and urgh I rambled. I think it will be useful though, she was quite perceptive about some of the things I said - pointing out things I know to be true but don't like to admit to... she says she will gently challenge me and concentrate on dealing with being too much of a perfectionist, and relaxing and leaving work behind at the end of the day. So I think I will give it a go.

Feel a bit drained now though.

Awww, Squizz. If she feels like she might be too nice, and yet you're drained, you might well have the right balance right there! Opening up your stuff is very tiring - hope you don't have anything booked tonight.

  • Well having slept on it I feel keen to go back and do more, so that's a good sign.

Last night was a chapter of OU book and a haircut.

Today.. work work work read sleep... got Mr S's cousin and son visiting on Friday (not staying with us but we're taking them out for dinner), then farmers market on Sat. And then payday on Monday, for which I need a new - stricter - budget!

Sounds good to me - why a *stricter* budget tho? And what does the haircut look like? :)

  • I need to put a set amount aside for 'treats' - clothes etc, and try to figure out how to really hammer down the debt. Need to save for teaching course and next OU course too, so I will have to reign myself in - been spending a bit too much since the new year.

Hair is short - bob with a fringe. Might put some pics on FB later :)

Aha! Being strict so you can set up an actual treats budget sounds good to me!
