    Thanks Elli :)

Not being very productive mind you - don't seem to have much work to do, just lots of bits and pieces and I can't settle to anything.

Ended up looking at courses on the River Cottage website - I really want a holiday in Devon and a day of allotment lessons! And this would be rather lovely too.. sigh.. http://www.rivercottage.net/events/weddings/

They look really nice! We have talked a bit about seeing more of the UK as well as trips abroad, hmmm.

Lovely day out there again, had a good walk at lunchtime, stocked up on make-up on 3 for 2 at Superdrug, and booked spa day (well, morning) for when my friend's visiting next weekend :)

Right, I've just got a balance from one of my DCAs - £40 less than I thought, which is nice. I've just sent them a Full & Final Settlement letter for about half of the outstanding balance. Am thinking that I can borrow this from my (paid off) overdraft account), get the DCA off my back for good and save myself a bit of money at the same time. We'll see what they say...

Glad you are feeling a bit better today and doing stuff to help like going for a walk etc, but having talked about getting some sort of counselling for stuff, please don't now try and ignore it - because it will only come back and invade your sleep at some other point in the future....

Now that it is more or less at the surface, it is a good time to deal with it in a very positive and genuine way.....in order that it "sits" better with you going forward.

    xx

I know you're right Hypno, and scary as it is, I've just emailed our staff counselling service to ask for an appointment.

I've also just negotiated a F&F settlement and saved myself £400 in the process! Need to do some sums though before I update my sig as I have borrowed a couple of bits from my overdraft which I'd forgotten about :o

  • Sorry about the dreams, maybe your mind is working through them in some way.

The F&F settlement seems good :) I hope it works out.
