I've a face that suits radio - or book writing or magazine writing - I don't think I'll ever be on the tv of my own free will. Far too scary.

I'll settle for growing enough to be able to stay home and grow it, iyswim.

Hmm that's a thought about giving up work - need to make sure there is provision in my savings for lessons! (and then I could pass some tips on for free.. or in exchange for cake :rotfl:)

One day.... although being able to play the thing myself would help - tried to practice last night but was so tense it was painful Anyway, did a big load of exam revision and then spent about an hour lying on the floor trying to get all my muscles to relax!

Today's mission is to buy some new headphones so I can listen to music on the way to work, and guided meditations. I have broken yet another pair.. someone should make handbag-proof headphones!

Earphones (I used to have some that had a case they wound up into, Karma, but they were a faff to put away!).

I have real headphones at home but they certainly don't get squished into my handbag!

Use a glasses case for those. They're less of a faff to put away, than to buy new ones...

Yeah but I'm lazy and now you want me to put yet another thing in my already overfull handbag and grumble grumble.. yes OK I'll buy some new ones and look after them this time!
