OOh! I think I heard a spoiler .... didn't realise it might have happened already. I'll *have* to download the first one today!

Okay, as for not dreaming about work - a car crash isn't much better

    Plan something *nice* :rotfl:

Well done on the essay mark! :T :T

And ooh, I forgot it was payday! :rotfl: :rotfl: There was me thinking I'd best check the bank before I bought my train tickets :rotfl:
  • Spooks has been good - lots of very Russian Russians as always!

Hooray for payday.. and for 5pm :) Looking forward to takeaway/ meal out tonight (I think we still have a voucher to use for somewhere) and lots of lying on the lawn at the weekend! Have a good one...

Thanks Pippi! Well the lawnmower actually got an outing on Saturday, for the first time in ages, so the lawn is at least a bit tidier. Had a good tidy up of 'expired' plants too and planted a few oriental greens and winter radishes for the autumn (if we are getting one of those, it was 29C here on Saturday!). Spent a bit of time out there reading too.

Rest of Saturday was spent doing exam revision/ test papers and cooking an amazing stir fry with interesting ingredients from local 'corner shop' (pickled seaweed, yum :)). Sunday I finished a chapter of my new course, some flute practice and hmm sure I must have done some other things but I can't remember what. Oh yes, bottled our crab apple and elderberry 'schnapps' both of which are very nice - also rather good mixed together! And did a little bit of essential clothes shopping online (underwear, tights and.. wellies :D)

Big scary meeting at work first thing this morning, which actually wasn't too bad, but has really thrown me off course for the day!

Sounds good! Especially the schnapps :)

I'm still widening the borders, so have no real room to plant anything, or at least nothing that won't be uprooted when I dig six inches away from it .... I'm reading lots about how radishes are a great catch crop, good for you!

    Sounds good Squizz!

Flute lesson for me tonight - have not picked the darn thing up at all since the last lesson - pesky clarinet! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Feel like I did at school squeezing in a couple of scales the morning of the lesson and trying to pretend I'd done loads of practice when it must have been blatantly obvious I hadn't :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ooh are you going on Mondays now? Hope it goes well.

Pesky other instruments vying for attention :D

Haven't got a regular day Squizz, just happens to have been mostly Fridays when both of us were free so far, but she wasn't free last Friday or this so we squeezed in Monday instead :D Suits me not having regular day actually! Just going to wing it tonight and hope for the best :p

It'll be fine :) I actually played better when I came back from France, although I'm not sure if "take five days off" is a recommended practice strategy :rotfl:
