Rest days work with exercise! (although I'm not sure that means that more rest days strung together in a row = better than more exercise :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)

I think it was being more relaxed that really helped, but that's an interesting thought about rest days.. got me thinking about how I organise my practice (i.e. not very well at the moment!)

Ah but you do what suits you at the moment (I didn't think I'd be doing this much but I've got a bit addicted... ) and it sounds like you're making good progress, playing Grade 7 pieces again

I found myself looking at the OU's music courses at the weekend.. have to keep reminding myself there are only so many hours in the day!

Ooh, I can just imagine you as a famous tv gardner Pippi! :T :T :T Not sure it's a particularly well paid profession mind you, even all the way up there, so he might be holding his breath for a while if he's waiting for that :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:

Actually I'd settle for enough money for both me and Mr S to not have to work full time and do more stuff we like doing - he'd probably read every novel known to man :rotfl: while I did excessive amounts of studying!

I'm settling for getting good enough at flute playing to be able to give up my lessons before I give up full time work and can't afford to pay for them any more :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
