Next £10 voucher off £20 spend

I rang them today re the free postage and to query the amount taken from my card

My order SHOULD have come to only £12 with discount & free delivery but they have charged me £34!!!!!!!

They said they THINK I have been charged for the Next catalogue which I did NOT order plus DELIVERY for the catalaogue plus FULL PRICE without the £10 off!!!!

This was meant to be a discount order

Plus there was a seperate sneaky charge on my bank account of £2 ... They said they don't know what that was for but its def taken by NEXT

I am getting peeved now because every deal I've tried to get apart from the fab Asos one I've had to FIGHT and chase them up to get the correct discount applied or a refund

Tried twice on the phone for a Damart refund today which they promised me and that one is STILL not sorted out so with Next they said they can only sort it out once I RECEIVE the items...

Thing is its becoming hard to keep track of who has sneakily overcharged me and who hasn't and in the next few days I am going to have to go through my statement with a fine tooth comb!!

I don't like the customer service phone numbers either as most are expensive and my last phone bill was MASSIVE after calling all these CS centres!!!!

Not MUCH of a saving on some of these deals after having to make countless calls to CS to sort them out!!! :mad:

the £2 is probably a test charge and will dissapear from your statement within a few days or when your goods have been ordered

Has everyone received a Next directory which they have been charged for?? I rang up today and the woman said I could have either free delivery or free catalogue but not both. I told her I didnt ask for the catalogue but she basically said tuff!!! Not happy about this.

i had this happen to me a while ago, i clicked on something and ordered my FREE next directory, then i got a bill from then for 2 or 3 pounds, so i rang up and asked what it was for and i was told i had to pay for the catalogue! ha as if! i said not a chance and she said well that means you cant keep it of your not going to pay for it, so i said thats fine, come and collect it.... to which she replied "you will need to send it back to us"...... - i was almost laughing at this point. she then said well i will have to send someone to collect it off you, and you will have to make sure you are in when they turn up....to which i replied "i'll do my best".... she must of got the hint because in the end she said chuck it in the bin!


Ohhh dear!

but to sum up - next will do anything to get your money off you for that directory. and if people carry on ignoring these £2 charges, then next will continue to do it to us. Definately ring them and say your not happy to pay it.... how can we stop it if we ignore it?

Thanks Laura, I already rang them, and she wouldnt have any of it, told her I was very unhappy but she just stuck by her guns!! Its a disgrace, as soon as Ive paid for my goods Im cancelling my account.

I got the £10 off code and ordered 3 items online - had to phone and ask for the free delivery code to be added as had mucked that bit up.

The first item was delivered quickly but was too big so I returned it at my local store. The other 2 items were dresses for a night out, but they arrived too late so I want to return them too. If I order another item online now, will they still honour the £10 off code, as this will be a new order? I'm hoping so as the first statement I received for first item delivered shows £10 credit to account.
