my son moved back home in August, he is on income support and DLA, he pays me £50 a fortnight rent and he got a letter this morning saying he is due a cold weather payment. (I opened it by mistake, we have the same initials) the thing is we pay the heating, he doesn't, do you think i am being unreasonable if i suggest he should give me some of it?
I think £50 a fornight is not enough , I would ask him and explain your paying alot to keep him warm and not taking to much keep money i know my mum would of either made me pay more or made me help with paying extra fuel in the very cold parts of winter !
    good Luck :)

Would split it 50/50 no arguements then. You would have probably had the heating on anyway.

1 trigger for PL3 up until yesterday. It's good to know that we'll be able to use extra fuel.

cwp is for payments towards heating bills, so i would ask nicely that he gives it to the household that keeps him warm
