Cold Weather Payments

Spoke to ESA/JCP today and they told me that the payment for the first trigger will be in my bank tomorrow as its been issued and the 2nd payment the same time next week.

i assume it will be the same for everyone.

Just Called (08456 088 546)
They told me, The payment was issued on the 3rd December & will be in my Account tomorrow.
So Hopefully everyone else will have theirs shortly.

2 payments due for DE2, anyone in my area recieved yet?
I popped into the job center and reminded them I was now entitled and the man wasn't impressed lol
He said it was marked on my "account" that I was but no payments have been sent out for this area yet.

I'd just like to on behalf of someone I know.

She's recently started claiming Income support after the birth of her baby in September. She also in receipt of Child tax credits. Her tax credits have only just been sorted out, however has been on Income support for say, three month.

Iv told her she qualifies for CWP. However she's adamant she won't receive one. But i thought having a child living with you under the age of five, would mean she qualifies. She's at the moment living with family members. I'm not sure if that would count towards Not getting one or getting one.

She's had to triggers for the Glasgow area, G34 postcode.
