Ha ha, if you knew Geneer you would know that it mattered not whether you were right. He is always right (even when he's wrong).:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And if you knew Pimperne1 you would know that he considers meaningless unsubstantiated assertions to be a suitable alternative to facts.

You would also know that he joined HPC just before house prices started their inevitable decline, and just after buying two BTL flats.

Once again the facts let you down
    www.espc.com

A link to an estate agents website = facts now does it.

Well I've edited with specific links since you lack the knowledge to find real facts ;)

Uh-oh. Clearly theres at least 8 properties which aren’t fixed price/offers over.

Of course I am guilty of slight exageration in a conversational tone when I said “everything” I really meant “significant majority”.
But I’ll fall on my sword now. :p
Congratulations IveSeenTheLight on your huge semantic victory. :T

FYI Quick check confirms that almost 40% of the properties for Scotland are fixed price alone. Closer to 50% for Edinburgh and the lothians. Ouch!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: 8 properties. Whoops. That sure accounts for "most" of the scotland market.

I'll leave you to figure out how offers around differs from offers over and how the single seller survey has effected the buying process up here:D)

LOL, I just selected a few, from the first couple of pages, there are many more.
I also said there were many fixed and offers around.

Still doesn't affect your once again incorrect statement "Everything's fixed or offers around".

Just a check, what data are you using for Scotland's figures?

P.S. You once showed an interest in the Aberdeen Market.
just checked www.aspc.co.uk, there are 2794 properties for sale, 614 (21.9%) are fixed price

    P.P.S
Keep posting geneer, you keep exposing your flaws ;)

I know. What am I like. Its not literally everything. Lordy.
You should be on the news or something like that, having outmanouvered me so spectacularly.:rotfl:

Couldn’t be the web site you just linked could it Einstein?:)

I’m sorry Lite. I missed the part where Aberdeen became Scotland. ;)

Ah. I see you’re going for the Pimperne1 unsubstantiated assertion tactic also. Not really a shocker. This comedy thread is peppered with Lite posts of the same calibre.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise the ESPC caterd for the whole of Scotland. I missed that part.
I tried searching for properties in inverness and it showed none.
That'll be because it only caters for East Central Scotland only.
You should try opening your eyes geneer

P.S. I never claimed ASPC covered the whole of Scotland, I leave you to make incorrect assertions ;)

And I missed the part where I said ESPC did cater for the whole of scotland.
I mean you were the one who linked it champ.

    Anyhoo, ESPC search page covers
    SCOTLAND
    ENGLAND
    WALES
    CYPRUS
    FRANCE
    ITALY
    MALTA
    etc
    etc
    etc

Which doesn't mean I'm saying it has every property for sale everywhere.

But its certainly enough coverage to validate my point.
You remember the point don't you? :D

P.S. I never claimed ASPC covered the whole of Scotland, I leave you to make incorrect assertions ;)

And I never accused you of doing the same.
So thats two things neither of us did, isn't it. :rotfl:
