Well everybody has been saying you can only get refunds if paid on credit card or by debit card, I still tryed with my bank and was successful. This will alter what I get from administrators but at least can go cheer up my customers today and not have long wait for a percentage.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -

I just wondered what basis you placed your indeminity claim on?? Was it just the fact you didn't recieve any goods?? Is there a seperate proceedure you should follow for this - I placed a 'chargeback' claim in 2 weeks ago although I paid by direct debit but I have had no response.0 -

Were these payments made direct to Farepack ? I made DD's but they were into an agents account. How could I prove the DD's were going to Farepack ?0 -

Yes they were as I'm an agent, you should speak to yr agent about what they have done to try to claim back money.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -
One thing that I did find out today is that the comany on the 0870 number you call to put yr original claim into did NOT have any details of my claim and I did the claim call twice to make sure too, so this was strange.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300

Direct Debits
I rang my bank today - Alliance Leicester - to put in an indemnity claim as I paid by DD. They said they couldn't do anything yet and that I had to wait until 30th November. Asked why this was and it's because the 30th November is when we should have received our goods by. I asked that after 30th November, when I call them back as I won't be receiving any goods to put in a claim, what are the chances of me claiming all my money back and I was told very good and that it would take 4-5 working days. I don't want to put my hopes on this but maybe a small glimmer of hope for those of us who paid by DD.0 -

would i really want to read 44 pages of moaning people about how they lost thier money?
So you don`t fancy reading through 44 pages of people telling their story of how we were all conned ,not moaning, by Farepak, then why are you even on this site? I have been an agent for this company for nearly 15 years and to have stupid comments like DON`T USE HAMPERS AGAIN isn`t much use at the moment.Of course none of us will use hamper companies again,oh to have such knowledge on hindsight!!!!!0
