I'm fairly sure that this wasn't aimed at you - I believe that it was aimed at Feux Verts who posted before you.
(and if I hadn't taken so long to post I would have seen that Karren had already replied!)0 -

1. i dont have hardly any money to put aside for christmas
2. its mad saving up all year for an event that lasts 1 day!
3. if i did then i would try internet banking (savings account)
I have council tax, NI, utility bills the list goes on and on and on unfortunately. I do also have internet banking but also it is soooo easy to transfer money over into my other account and hey presto, as if by magic it's gone!! That is why I put a little away each week, yes mainly it is for the one day as I have 3 children and a big family and no I don't overspend on them, and with whatever vouchers (that is what I saved with Farepak for) that I had left over my partner and I could get a little treat ourselves or perhaps something for the house.
Everybody has different circumstances, just remember that.0 -

You may want to remember that this thread is titled "Farepak in administration: What to do?". If you want to start a "Should Farepak victims get their money back" thread then it may be more suited to the Arms or Discussion Time rather than here where people are trying get & give support.0 -

Why come on here in the first place? You haven't come on to give advice all I am saying is if you had bothered to read back through the thread you might understand that people saved with Farepak for different reasons.0 -
you do speak some sense, and like i said maybe i come accross a bit arrogant but i can assure you im not but when im getting a charity box waved in my face at work, outside sainsburys and god knows where else aswell as posters in my work place i thought id pop here and offer my opinions hence i started my other thread so will leave this for genuine non moaning people now!0
