Many thanks to Tristonata for the helpful websites, although I must admit that at first I thought the negative comments weren`t needed!!! SORRY!!! starting to warm to you now!!! Did anyone else see the scumbag on the News tonight? Did you see thre Hotel he was staying at? No need now to ask where our money has gone!!! and last week we were all going to get about £32.00 each and tonight it looks likely to be 4p in the £!!!!!!! B******S!!!!0 -
Hi, I didn't think I would but today received a full refund of the 3 payment I paid using my visa card with Lloyds. They were really unhelpful in the begining, phone calls did not make a difference but sent a letter to their card services dept and had a refund in 10 days! Its not much but better than nothing! Good luck! What goes around comes around0

Though I do not advocate violence and all usual disclaimers etc, I have also just seen the story on ITV News and I just think that somebody should shoot this man. Complete and utter scum.
I know my post is not constructive but I just had to say something. This just makes my blood boil.
I'm really pleased to hear about the possibility of chargebacks, and I do hope this helps some people.
Thinking of everyone who has been affected xGone ... or have I?0 -

The Cooperative Bank {my bank} are still refusing to budge on this one, I'd love to know how much people have got back against what was paid.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Can I just ask how you got money back from your bank? How did you pay if not by credit card or debit card? Just want to know to see if any point of me trying.I have asked Nat west who said that I wouldn`t be able to get anything back as I paid by cash and customers cheques, but you have given me a new ray of hope.thanks Kay

Has anybody had any problems with chargeback after using their card to pay via the Post Office? My bank is refusing to refund any of the payments I made to Farepak which I made through the Post Office using the Farepak payment card. The reason they state is 'this is not classed as a payment by debit card. By using your card at the Post Office to pay Farepak, you have used a third party and the payment is not directly through us'. All the receipts have Farepak Ltd on them. I have been given legal advice that I should be able to claim as Farepak are the beneficiaries of the payments and Post Office have also confirmed that the payments did indeed go straight to Farepak. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

Can you please post which banks have given Diect Debit refunds, and if it was full amount, payments since June, or payments since August?
I want to see if one is my bank, or if anyone else uses the same banks and they can then apply for a refund.
Thanks0 -
