Poll: How often do you wash your hair?

Once a week, occasionally twice if we're goign out. People often comment on how lovely and shiney my hair is and want to know what I do to get it like that.....I'm convinced it's more what I DON'T do!!!

3-4 times a week. Usually Mon/Wed/Fri morning before work, and Saturday evening before going out.

Every other day, would love to wash it everyday but don't think it does it any good and I would need to straighten it more often then, which def isn't good for it!!

Me too, except when camping at festivals when it can go the whole time I'm there due to the limited washing facilities (at which times I scrape it back and cover with a hat or bandana). Even though my hair is long and often worn tied back as others have mentioned, it's really obvious if it has not been washed for a day. I also dislike how it feels when it's not been washed, I don't feel clean even if the rest of me is.

Every week day and then usually one day of the weekend. Depending on what I am doing.

I remember going to a 'posh' hairdressers not so long ago and they told me it would improve my hairs condition if I didn't wash it for a week. :eek: I would be able to fry chips in it if I left it that long!

Everyday but probably miss a day at the weekend if I am not going anywhere.

I remember reading an article where someone didn't wash her hair for like a month to see if it would become self washing and she said after the first week (which was really itchy and horrid!) it became really shiny and silky and looked in really good condition!
I wish I could do that but there is no way I could not wash my hair for a week plus!!
