I've just finished a huge battle with curry's (same co) and like you I was getting no-where from the staff in the store or on the telephone. I came onto this site to seek advice. I found an e-mail address for the chief exec and e-mailed him. Later that day I received an e-mail back explaining that someone from the medics team would contact me the next day. True to their word (for once) someone did contact me and they were fab I was able to get everything sorted to my satisfaction without the frustration of being fobbed off or hung up on. Try doing the same thing it may help you. The e-mail address is john.browett@dixons.com (good luck)0

Hi Skye, did exactly the same a few days ago, and low and behold actually got a phone call by someone willing to sort out. Eventually asked for my money back and collection. This is being honoured and I have bought another one from Amazon. Certainly worth tracking down the CEO address. Kind regards.0

I was just about to suggest taking it into a Currys store but you just trumped me with your CEO reply!

I wanted to buy a combination microwave from Currys but found the same one at Dixons for £20 less. Dixons don't have any high street stores anymore as they've rebranded to Currys so I don't understand the difference in price!English by birth. GEORDIE by the grace of God.0 -

Yep emailing the CEO always pays dividends.
Good luck and well done with your results.:beer:0 -
I realize the hypocrisy of what I'm about to do but, here it goes...
WHY oh WHY Francesanne did you find the need to reply to a thread that is four months old?
Was there any need to revive this thread?
Why do people do this, I simply don't understand...0
